*Calling all artists and writers! MUSE is accepting our last round of submissions for this year's magazine. Your final date to submit is this Friday, Feb. 22nd. Every submission will qualify for February's $10 gift card drawing. Don't delay, submit today!

*Attention Warriors:  As part of the class gift from the Class of 2019, Arapahoe High School will be sending a delegation of students and staff to the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming this April to strengthen our relationship with the tribe. All students are welcome to apply to be part of this delegation. We will bring roughly 50 students from all classes to represent our high school, so you are encouraged to apply. Today is the LAST day to submit an application!  Applications are available in the Counseling office, and will need to be completed by 3:30 today! Apply now in the counseling office!

*Sources of Strength is hosting a Movie Night for you and your positive pals. Join us in the forum after school this Friday to watch Mean Girls. Bring your positive friends and enjoy time connecting with one another.

*Attention all seniors who have completed or are currently enrolled in Personal Finance or CE Personal Finance.  The Business Department and Metrum Credit Union are now offering a $1,000 scholarship opportunity. Please see a teacher in the business department for more information about applying for the scholarship.  All applications are due April 1st at 3pm.

*Attention all boys interested in Swim and Dive this spring. All gear orders are due by this Friday, Feb. 22nd.  First day of practice is Feb. 25th. Go to ahsswimdive.com to register and order your team gear.

*Our Warrior Unified basketball team has their Unity through Unified game next week Wednesday, February 27 at 6:00 PM. T-shirts will be on sale during lunches.  Please come support our Unified team at HHS next week Wednesday!

RSVPs are required for this event. See your counselor, Mrs. Hall, or submit from the online form on the Post Grad website.

*Tonight's Varsity girls basketball game is a tribute for our senior players:  Nelly Alger, Grace Cadorette, Sienna Golden, and Eliana McClarie. Come cheer on these amazing girls tomorrow at 5:30 pm against Cherokee Trail – it is their last home game!

*Our Boys Basketball Warriors battle it out at their last home game of the season, TONIGHT, against Cherokee Trail in our house.   5:30 pm for JV and 7 pm for Varsity. Make it a white out! Come cheer on our guys to victory and a hopeful playoff run!

*Attention: Sophomores and Juniors -There will be a meeting in the forum today during both lunches for anyone interested in taking a Concurrent Enrollment course AT Arapahoe Community College fall semester. The required paperwork with be given out to any students interested. Students planning on taking a Concurrent Enrollment class at Arapahoe High School next year do NOT have to attend this meeting. Please feel free to bring your lunch.

*Congratulations to our Band Of Sisters and their performance at the 2019 Girls State Wrestling Competition. The Warriors finished 5th place as a team and had three state placer winners! Finishing in 3rd place were JJ Plummer and Rosalind Ramos Cruz! Our 4th place  finisher was Kira Gilliland! We'd also like to give a shout out to the many fans who supported our wrestlers on Saturday! It's A Great Day To Be A Warrior!

*This weekend your Lady Water Warriors attended the CHSAA State meet in Thornton.  We took 5th in State! Huge kudos go to our Dive Squad! Senior Captain Franny Cable took 1st place for the 2nd straight season setting the pool and team records.  She was also named Diver of the year! Teammate Senior Captain Kirry Belitz took 2nd in diving! Junior Anna Wetzel set a junior national time in the 100 breaststroke while placing 4th overall! The 200 free relay qualified for All American!  Congratulations ladies!

*Tonight our Boys Basketball Warriors take on Smoky Hill at Smoky. 5:30 for our JV guys and 7 pm for our Varsity guys.  Come support your boys!

*This weekend our Girls Swim & Dive state qualifiers travel to Thornton for the State competition.  Swim Prelims are today at 4:00 pm, Dive Prelims are Saturday at 9:30 am. Finals for both are Saturday at 3:00 pm.  All events to be held at Veterans Memorial Aquatic Center. Come cheer on our Lady Water Warriors!

*Come out to cheer on your LPS hockey team this weekend. Tonight they face Mountain Vista at 7:45 at South Suburban Ice Rink. On Saturday night, the team will celebrate senior night before their 6:30 game against Mullen at South Suburban.

*Tomorrow's Saturday Varsity basketball game is our senior tribute to our amazing seniors:  Bobby Baltzer, Preston Cobos, Lane D'Agostino, Spencer Fleming, Ben Jones, Daniel Hill, Kellen McCann & Carter Sturgeon.  Come cheer on our special guys tomorrow at 2:30 pm against Eaglecrest in our house!
