*HEY ARAPAHOE ARTISTS! Art Club is starting back up and we will be meeting TOMORROW in room E1283 right after school until 4:30pm. Come join us whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking for something creative to do after school. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Hawthorne.
*Juniors and Seniors- next Tuesday, August 25th, University of Alaska and Mississippi State will be visiting the Post Secondary Center. Seton Hall, Bucknell and Ole Miss - University of Mississippi will be here next Thursday, August 27th. Sign up in SCOIR (pronounced ‘score’) or stop into S1401 for details.
*Warriors....UNIFIED Sports starts up this fall with Unified Kickball and Flag Football competitions. You’re invited to join UNIFIED and come to our interest meeting during Tribe on Tuesday, August 25th @ in room E1275. Look for Mrs. Abner's name on the Tribe pull list to join us. Come learn about more ways you can Unify with UNIFIED! If you have any questions, see Mrs. Abner.
Athletics
*Good luck to our Girls Softball teams TODAY as they take on Green Mountain Rams @ Green Mountain HS. Varsity will play at 4:00pm followed by JV. Both Varsity and JV softball have started the season with 2 wins. The Varsity team had the largest comeback in school history against Widefield on Saturday, winning 20-10 after trailing 9-0. They followed it up on Tuesday with a 9-8 win over Regis after trailing 6-0.
*Welcome back Warriors! AHS Cheerleading is holding Fall Tryouts! If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading this fall, fill out the interest form linked in the bio of AHS Cheers instagram @arapahoe_cheerleading. Tryouts will be held on September 2nd and September 4th in the wrestling room.
