 General Announcements

*HEY ARAPAHOE ARTISTS!  Ready to create, hang out, and have some fun with art? Art Club is starting back up for the year and we will be meeting THIS THURSDAY, August 20th in room E1283 right after school until 4:30pm.  Come join us whether you’re an experienced artist or just looking for something creative to do after school. Bring your ideas, bring a friend, and come make some art!  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Hawthorne. 

*It’s time to SADDLE UP for Homecoming! Our Homecoming Parade is happening September 19th, and this year we’re going WILD WEST! We want to see our clubs and sports teams bring their best Wild West spirit to the parade! Whether you’re planning a decorated truck, wagon, float, or something completely outside the corral, we want you there!  What we need from you:  Sign up your club or team to participate; create a Wild West-themed parade entry, bring the school spirit and have some fun! Sign up by September 11th.  Let’s make this the biggest, most WILD Homecoming Parade yet!

*Come out and get loud for our Girls Softball teams TODAY as they take on Regis Jesuit @ Regis starting at 4:00pm.

*The Boys Soccer teams will be having a Player & Parent meeting TONIGHT at 6:00pm in the Forum.  

*Welcome back Warriors! AHS Cheerleading is holding Fall Tryouts! If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading this fall, fill out the interest form linked in the bio of AHS Cheers instagram @arapahoe_cheerleading. Tryouts will be held on September 2nd and September 4th in the wrestling room.

*Attention Seniors! Your Senior Class Panoramic Pictures will be taken TOMORROW @ 8:20am in the gym. Remember - this is the ONLY time this picture of your ENTIRE Senior class will be taken. DON'T MISS OUT! Make sure you’re a part of this special event.  SEE YOU THERE!

*Warriors, get ready for the ‘Color Back to School’ dance TONIGHT!  This dance is just for AHS students.  Tickets are $5.  Make sure to bring your student ID, wear white and join us in the West parking lot @ 8:00pm.
