*Seniors! TODAY is the last day to turn in your Senior Yearbook photos!  No late photos will be accepted. Head to @ahscalumetyearbook on Instagram for submission instructions. 

Warriors - as we wrap up Classified Employee Appreciation week at Arapahoe, we want our Classified employees to know how much we value and appreciate their dedication to their jobs and to our community. Thank you for helping make Arapahoe an awesome place to learn and grow. 

*Don’t miss out on seeing an extraordinary performance!  Your AHS Thespians present their Fall production - ‘Dracula’.  The entire cast and crew invite you to this FANG-tastic performance TONIGHT & TOMORROW.  Tickets can be purchased online at bit.ly/ahstheatre. 

*The Arapahoe Mountain Bike team will be competing in the Chalk Creek Stampede TOMORROW in Nathrop. This is the last race of the season before the State Championship race in two weeks. Races run from 8:20am-12:30pm.  Good Luck to all 22 riders!  

*Warriors, are you interested in starting fresh and celebrating with friends? Come to Jewish Student Alliance next Wednesday, October 14 at 8:00am in room C1438 where we will celebrate Simchat Torah, in addition to eating food, communing with each other, and celebrating the Jewish community! See you there.

*Save the date for FCA’s Fields of Faith! Come out Monday, October 12th at 6:30pm at Centennial Stadium for a community-wide night of faith, worship, student testimonies, and encouragement. Our special guest speaker will be Denver Broncos Ring of Famer, Steve Foley. Bring your friends and family...everyone is welcome! 

*Juniors and Seniors -  TODAY in the PSC  meet  with Temple University- Japan, Colorado School of Mines and University of Colorado- Boulder. Next week look for University of Washington, Cal Poly and The United States Air Force.  Sign up in (SCORE) Scoir! 

*Calling all students and staff time to show off your coloring skills for our first Annual Coloring Contest. Stop by the library and grab the coloring sheet to show off your creativity! All entries are due by Wednesday, Oct 28th.  

*Juniors & Seniors - please remember if you are parked on campus you MUST have a current parking permit. If you need a permit, please go to the AHS website, fill out the Google form, pay and then see any of the DSO's at the security desks. Cars parked in the lot without a permit WILL be ticketed.  

*Hey Warriors! Have you purchased your 2027 Calumet yearbook? Prices increase to $80 on October 30th, so get yours soon! You can purchase yearbooks on Infinite Campus under "fees” or with cash or check with the AHS Bookkeeper.

Athletics

*CONGRATULATIONS to both the Girls and Boys Varsity Cross Country teams as they earned the Centennial League Championship yesterday. Arapahoe runners Maeve Vancik and Maddox Mangers are league champions! Congratulations to all the cross country runners! 

*Attention ABK Girls:  If you are interested in trying out for Girls' Soccer this spring, please attend our first Preseason meeting TODAY at 3:50pm in the Forum.  If you are not able to attend, see Coach Hayes or Coach Winn.

*Come pack the stands for our Boys Varsity Football team TONIGHT @ HOME at 7:00pm at Littleton Stadium against Cherokee Trail.

*Warriors - TODAY we celebrate our amazing paraprofessionals, IT techs, safety officers, and bus drivers during Classified Employee Appreciation Week.   From guiding classroom learning to driving thousands of commute miles safely, these teams touch every single part of your school day. They keep our technology connected, our classrooms supported, and our campus safe day in and day out. Supporting teachers and students is the name of their game and we appreciate all they do for our building.

If you are already registered to vote in the upcoming midterm election, come by to check that your registration information is all accurate!

*Good Luck to our Warrior Cross Country teams TODAY at the Centennial League Championships starting at 3:00pm at Arapahoe County Fairgrounds.

*Come cheer on your Boys Soccer teams TODAY at HOME against Smoky Hill.  Varsity will play at 7:00pm after JV plays at 5:00pm.  Both games are at Littleton Stadium.  

*Good luck to our Girls Field Hockey teams TODAY against Kent Denver.  Varsity will play at 4:15pm followed by the JV team at 5:30pm.  Games are at Kent Denver.  

*Good Luck to our Girls Volleyball teams TODAY as they take on Cherry Creek at Cherry Creek HS.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:30pm.  Our Sophomore team will play at 4:30pm followed by the Freshmen team at 5:30pm.

*Warriors - TODAY we highlight our office staff and administrative support team. Our front office handles hundreds of calls, emails, visitor check-ins, and logistics requests every single day. From attendance and records to campus access control, they are the central nervous system of our school. They even keep the trivia vibes going strong throughout the building! Your AHS Thespians present their Fall production - ‘Dracula’.  The entire cast and crew invite you to this FANG-tastic performance starting Thursday, October 8th through the 10th.  Tickets can be purchased online at bit.ly/ahstheatre. 

*Warriors - Day 2 of Classified Employee Appreciation Week goes out to our incredible custodial and facilities crew. Our custodians average 8 to 10 miles of walking every day keeping this building clean, safe, and open. Beyond cleaning, they manage campus heating and cooling, structural repairs, and set up every event before you arrive. Give our facilities team a big thank you when you pass them in the halls today! 

*Hey Warriors, we don’t meet in a barn and we certainly give a darn, so come use some yarn TODAY in the Crochet and Knitting Club meeting after school in room E1283! 

*Hey Juniors and Seniors, TODAY the PSC will host The American University of Paris, Colorado Mesa University, University of the Pacific and University of Florida.  TOMORROW come meet University of Nevada-Las Vegas, Johns Hopkins and University of Colorado- Denver.  Look for University of Chicago, Texas A&M and Trinity College-Dublin on THURSDAY.  Sign up in Scoir (SCORE).

*Good luck to our Girls Volleyball teams TONIGHT as they take on Mullen @ Mullen HS.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:00pm.  The Sophomore team will play at 4:30pm followed by the JV team @ 5:00pm.

*Good luck to our Boys Soccer teams TONIGHT against Cherokee Trail.  The Varsity game will start at 8:00pm at Legacy Stadium.  The JV team will play at 4:30pm at Cherokee HS and the C-team will play at 4:15pm on the AHS Varsity soccer field.

*Congratulations to the Boys JV Gold Tennis team for winning the Centennial League Championship last Friday.  The Warriors finished with four 1st-place winners and three 2nd-place winners.  The team wrapped up an outstanding season by finishing with a record of 10-1.

*Hey Arapahoe Girls, make sure to attend the Girls Swimming and Diving Preseason meeting for any and all interested athletes and their parents TONIGHT at 6:30pm in the Forum.  Come meet our CHSAA, 5A award winning Coach Eikenbary.  We have a culture of inclusion, sportsmanship and competitive success that you can be a part of.  See you there!

*Warriors - TODAY kicks off Classified Employee Appreciation Week! Did you know our classified staff make up nearly 50% of our entire school workforce, from cafeteria teams and custodians to office staff, IT, paras, and bus drivers? Our school literally cannot open its doors, keep the lights on, or run a single class without them. This week, make an extra effort to say thank you to the essential team members who keep Arapahoe running smoothly everyday!

Huge congratulations to Zoe for her top 5 finish in the Senior division and Cade for taking 3rd place overall in the freshman division. We are so proud of you!
