General Announcements

*Warriors, start your engines!  Join us for the 9th Annual AHS Charity Car Show on Saturday, October 3rd, from 9:00am -noon in the east parking lot. Come check out some amazing rides and help a great cause—all proceeds support the AHS Holiday Toy Drive and future shows.  Spread the word to your friends, family, and neighbors, and don’t miss this community tradition! For more details, see the flyers posted around the school or talk to Mr. Hawthorne.

*Save the date for FCA’s Fields of Faith! Come out Monday, October 12th at 6:30pm at Centennial Stadium for a community-wide night of faith, worship, student testimonies, and encouragement. Our special guest speaker will be Denver Broncos, Ring of Famer, Steve Foley. Bring your friends and family...everyone is welcome! 

*Hey Warriors! Come check out our Photography Club TOMORROW.  We meet every Tuesday after school in room E1288. No experience necessary, just a curious mind.  Come get an after-school snack. See you there!

*Come pack the stands for our Girls Field Hockey teams TODAY @ Centennial Stadium against Colorado Academy.  Varsity will start at 7:45pm after JV plays at 6:30pm.  C-team will play at 5:30pm.

*Good luck to our Boys Tennis teams TODAY as they take on Cherry Creek!  Varsity will play at Cherry Creek HS @ 4:00pm.  JV Black will play at 3:45pm at Holly Tennis Courts.

*Warriors - Morgan’s Message is hosting a Dedication Game for TONIGHTS’s  Flag Football game at 7:00pm at Centennial Stadium! Morgan's Message is a club dedicated to supporting student-athlete mental health. See you there! 

*Warriors, the E-Sports Club is having a meeting TONIGHT from 6:30pm-7:30pm in room E1285.  Come join us if you are interested.  If you have any questions, come talk to Mr. Low.

*Have you ever seen a Water Polo game?  You’re invited to come out and support our Warrior Water Polo teams TOMORROW @ HOME starting at 10:00am.  Our  teams will be hosting the Colorado High School Water Polo League games until 4:00pm.  

*The Arapahoe Mountain Bike team will be competing in the Haymaker Classic in Eagle this Sunday, September 27th. The team had a strong showing in Steamboat last weekend with two top 10 finishers and 3 with significant increases in their finish positions. The first race is at 9:05am and the last race is at 2:50pm. Good luck to all of our riders this weekend!

*Arapahoe Girls, are you looking for a winter sport?  You should try Girls Wrestling.  Come to room S1427 on Wednesday, September 30 at 3:45pm.  You can meet the coaches and some of the returning female wrestlers.  We are looking for girls that want to join the ‘Band of Sisters’, whatever experience you have in wrestling.

*Have you ever seen a Water Polo game?  You’re invited to come out and support our Warrior Water Polo teams @ HOME on Saturday, September 26th starting at 10:00am.  The teams will be hosting the Colorado High School Water Polo League games until 4:00pm.

*Come cheer on our Girls Volleyball teams TODAY against Cherokee Trail.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm following JV @ 5:00pm.  Sophmore team will play at 4:30pm and Freshman team will play @ 5:30pm.  All games will be at Cherokee Trail HS.

*Come out and get your football fix when our JV and Freshman Football teams play at HOME TONIGHT!  JV will play at 7:00pm after the Freshman play at 5:00pm.  Games are on the AHS Turf field.

*Warriors, Lifetouch is here TODAY for picture retakes. They will be in the Atrium from 10:15am - 2:15pm. Come between classes, an off period or at lunch if you missed the initial picture day or if you would like to have your picture retaken, this is your opportunity to do so. Students who do not get their picture taken will not be in the yearbook. ALL STUDENTS are required to have a student ID.  You can purchase pictures online at Lifetouch.com using this code - EVTT2QJJZ.
