 General Announcements

*Warriors, ON YOUR MARK, GET SET, GO.  The 2nd Annual Duck Hunt brought to you by the Class of 2028 STUCO has begun.  Mini ducks will be hidden around the common areas of the school. Keep an eye out for the special ducks wearing St. Paddy’s hats. If you find one, bring it to Mrs. Romero to receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win Chipotle gift cards!  Happy hunting, Warriors!


*Warriors - on March 25th, the Wednesday of Spring Break, the English 12 Capstone Project "Fresh Start" will be hosting a fundraiser night at Qdoba from 4:00pm-close. Our group is supporting people in our community who are re-entering society after incarceration by providing resources for a fresh start. We would love to see you at Qdoba to support and learn more about the cause.


*Warriors - TODAY, Savannah College of Art and Design will be here at 11:30am and Cal Poly will be visiting at 1:00pm.  Baylor and Miami of Ohio will be here after the break, Sign up in Scoir!


*Arapahoe students! Come support our HOP for Miracles fundraiser, an English 12 Capstone Project supporting infertility awareness for young families, at Panera Bread in Highlands Ranch on Monday, March 30th from 4:00pm-8:00pm. To make sure your purchase counts, you must show the fundraiser flyer at checkout. Flyers will be posted in the cafeteria and the library. You can take a picture of it so your order goes toward our fundraiser! Bring your friends and family and help support a great cause!



Athletics

*Good luck to our Girls Tennis teams TODAY against the Colorado Academy Mustangs.  Varsity will play at 4:00pm at the Holly Tennis Courts.  JV Black will play at Colorado Academy at 4:00pm.

*Come cheer on your Girls Varsity Soccer team TODAY at Centennial Stadium against our cross town rival - Heritage at 7:00pm.  JV will play before at 4:30pm.

*Good luck to our Boys Lacrosse teams TODAY.  Our Varsity Warriors will take on Cheyenne Mountain @ Cheyenne Mountain HS at 6:30pm following the JV team at 4:30pm.

*Come pack the stands for our Girls Varsity Lacrosse team TODAY @ Littleton Stadium @ 7:30pm against Kent Denver.

*TONIGHT is the AHS College Information Night!  Join us for Q&A panel with college admissions representatives in the theater at 6:30pm and then a college fair with 30 regional and national colleges and universities at 7:30pm!   All grades and their families are invited and encouraged to attend.  It's not too early and never too late to start preparing for Postsecondary opportunities!

*Warriors - on March 11th, our own Head Boys Basketball coach Kevin Boley was honored with the SUTAK Award from CHSAA & CHSCA (the Colorado High School Coaches Association).  The SUTAK Award is presented each year to a Colorado coach for excellence and achievement in Boys Basketball and is the most prestigious award given to a CHSCA high school basketball coach.  Congratulations Coach Boley!

*Good luck to our LPS Boys Volleyball team TONIGHT at 6:00pm as they take on Bear Creek at Bear Creek HS.

*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Tennis team TODAY as they take on Denver East @ 3:30pm at City Park Tennis Courts.  The JV Gold team will also play at the City Park courts.  JV Black will play at Holly Tennis Courts at 3:45pm. Let’s Go Warriors!

*It’s Official - the AHS Thespians Spring Musical production, Chicago: Teen Edition is a HIT!  The show will run TONIGHT and Saturday @ 7:00pm!  Tickets for the performance can be purchased through the link on the AHS website under ‘News’ or on the AHS Thespian website - bit.ly/ahstheatre.  Hope to see you there!


*WARRIORS - TODAY is the last day to bring in new or gently used coats for our trip to Wind River.  There will be large boxes in the cafeteria and trophy hallway until the end of the day.  Warriors always take care of one another!

*Come pack the stands for your Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY against cross town rival Heritage @ HOME @ 4:00pm.  JV will be playing at Heritage @ 4:00pm.  The Sophomore team will be playing TOMORROW @ HOME starting at 11:00am followed by the Freshman team at 1:30pm. The Snack Shack will be open, so come out for a beautiful day of baseball.

*TONIGHT at 5:00pm at Heritage High School your Arapahoe Boys Swimming and Diving team will do battle with the Eagles.  Come support the boys tonight, or wish them good luck today in the halls!  Go Warriors!

*Come cheer on your Warrior Track & Field athletes TOMORROW @ HOME starting  at 10:00am in a dual meet

*The AHS Thespians are excited to bring you their Spring Musical production, Chicago: Teen Edition TONIGHT, Friday and Saturday!  Tickets for the performance can be purchased through the link on the AHS website under ‘News’ or on the AHS Thespian website - bit.ly/ahstheatre.  Hope to see you there!


*WARRIORS - we are collecting new or gently used coats for our trip to Wind River.  There will be large boxes in the cafeteria and trophy hallway until March 13th.  Warriors always take care of one another!


*The AHS Capstone group 'Chance for Childrens' is raising money and fundraising to make gift bags for children in the NICU and cancer center at Children's Hospital. They will be hosting a toy and blanket drive from March 9th -13th and all donations must be unused. Donation baskets will be located at the forum and the bubble entrances.

*Good luck to our Varsity Baseball team TODAY as they take on Douglas County at Douglas County HS @ 4:15pm.  The JV team will be at HOME @ 4:15pm against Douglas County.  The Freshman team will play Rock Canyon at Rock Canyon HS @ 4:00pm.


*Attention Dancers! It's time to get ready for the Toms Dance team prep clinics! If you’re interested in auditioning for the Toms, our prep clinics are the perfect chance to learn skills, meet the coaches, and get a feel for what auditions will be like. Whether you already have strong dance experience or are just excited to try something new, we encourage you to come join us! The first clinic will be this Friday, March 13th from 4:00pm-6:00pm. We will have a guest instructor with us who is a current Broncos Cheerleader, and a former Denver Nuggets Dancer. Sign up today by visiting the link on the Toms Instagram Bio.
