*Attention ALL current Sophomores and Juniors!  Do you have excellent swimming skills? The Swim Waiver sign-up is open and under the ‘News’ section on the AHS website.  The test will be given April 22nd at 7:40am in the Arapahoe pool. 


*News from the Post Secondary Center - Hey sophomores and juniors, the Marines will be here on Thursday @ 11:30am to talk about NROTC, college and enlistment.  Sign up in Scoir.


*Seniors - The Class of 2026 Senior Exit Survey is in your inbox!  If you know your plan for the fall, don't delay!  It must be completed in order to pick up your cap and gown.


*Hey Arapahoe! The Creative Writing Club is looking for submissions for The Muse, our Arapahoe High School literary magazine! Whether it's an essay you are proud of, poems and/or fiction that you write in your free time, submit by April 15th to be placed into the next issue of the Muse.  Use the QR codes on the back of the Muse found in the Library or the posters in the hallways! 


*Warriors - National Honor Society would love your help with their ‘Book Drive’ April 1st - April 13th to support ‘Reach Out and Read Colorado’.  This is a nonprofit that supports early childhood success by promoting reading in pediatric care.  New and gently used books are accepted.  Look for donation boxes throughout the school.



Athletics

*Come out and cheer on your Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY @ HOME against Cherokee Trail starting at 4:00pm.

*Join AHS Baseball TOMORROW at BIRDCALL across the street for our fundraising restaurant day.  Stop by ALL DAY — for breakfast, lunch or dinner with your friends and family to support AHS Baseball.  USE CODE AHS408 when ordering for it to count towards our fundraiser.  See you at BIRDCALL tomorrow!

*Good luck to our Girls Tennis teams TODAY against Grandview.  Varsity plays at 3:45pm at Holly Tennis courts.  JV will play at Grandview HS.  

*Good luck to our Boys LPS Volleyball teams TODAY against Valor.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:30pm.  C team will play at 4:15pm.  All games are at Heritage HS.  

*Warriors - Cheerleading tryouts will be held April 21st-23rd!  Make sure to attend the Information Meeting on Wednesday, April 8th at 5:30pm in the Forum to get a better look into what cheerleading is like at Arapahoe! If you have not yet filled out the interest form, please make sure to do so as soon as possible! We hope to see you there!

  • Monday - join us for our Pickleball Tournament, visit Twisted Sugar

*Congratulations to your Boys Swimming and Diving team who won the Warrior Invitational over the weekend.  The boys will next be in action on Thursday, April 9th at HOME.  Help us celebrate our AMAZING Seniors at Senior night starting @ 5:00pm.

*Let’s pack the stands for our Boys Lacrosse teams TODAY against Kent Denver.  Varsity plays at 5:30pm and JV plays @ 4:00pm.  Games are at DeSo Field.

*Good luck to our Boys Baseball teams TODAY as they take on Pondersa.  Varsity plays at 4:00pm at Ponderosa HS.  JV will play at HOME @ 4:30pm.

*Congratulations to your Boys Swimming and Diving team who dominated Cherokee Trail last night in a Centennial League contest. The varsity team is now 4-1 in dual meets. The team will next be in action TOMORROW at HOME for the Warrior Invitational.  Swimming starts at 9:00am and diving should start around noon. Good luck guys!

*Hey Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - Baylor University will be visiting the Post Secondary Center TODAY at 11:35am.  Next week look for Miami of Ohio and the Marines to talk about NROTC, College and Enlistment. Sign up in Scoir.


*Warriors - get ready for the best time of the year - WARRIOR WEEK!  Next week, get ready to have some fun while helping to raise money through Make-a-Wish Colorado for our Wish Kid, Flora who is battling a life threatening illness.  Details for events & activities are on posters throughout the school, our AHS social media and on these announcements.

Athletics

*Get ready to pack the stands and cheer on your Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY @ HOME as they take on Mountain Vista at 4:15pm.  JV will play at Mountain Vista HS, also at 4:15pm.


*We need YOU to get LOUD for our Girls Varsity Lacrosse team TONIGHT @ HOME at Centennial Stadium @ 7:00pm.  The JV team will play before @ 5:00pm.  


*Congratulations to your Boys Swimming and Diving team on a big win last night against Smoky Hill!  The boys swam and dove with toughness and pride... no foolin'! The boys record is now 3-1 and they will next be in action TOMORROW @ HOME at 5:00pm vs. Cherokee Trail.


*Flag Football Offseason Practices has started and runs Tuesdays through Thursdays until May 14th, 5:30pm-7:00pm on the North Grass Field. Come out to receive and give great energy with the exciting new sport of flag football.
