 General Announcements

*Have you ever seen a Water Polo game?  You’re invited to come out and support our Warrior Water Polo teams @ HOME on Saturday, September 26th starting at 10:00am.  The teams will be hosting the Colorado High School Water Polo League games until 4:00pm.  

*Warriors - please remember if you are parked on campus you MUST have a current parking permit. If you need a permit, please go to the AHS website, fill out the Google form, pay and then see any of the DSO's at the security desks. Cars parked in the lot without a permit WILL be ticketed.  

*Warriors - Morgan’s Message is hosting a Dedication Game for TOMORROW’S  Flag Football game at 7:00pm at Centennial Stadium! Morgan's Message is a club dedicated to supporting student-athlete mental health. See you there! 

*Juniors and Seniors- this week the PSC is hosting Washington State and University of Michigan TODAY and Bucknell University and University of Idaho are here TOMORROW  Sign up in Scoir!

*Attention all singers and Acapella enthusiasts, please join us every Friday morning for the Acapella Club in room N1496 at 7:45am.

*Warriors, the E-Sports Club is having a meeting TOMORROW from 6:30pm-7:30pm in room E1285.  Come join us if you are interested.  If you have any questions come talk to Mr. Low.

*Seniors! Senior Yearbook photos are due Friday, October 9th. Head to @ahscalumetyearbook on Instagram for submission instructions. No late photos will be accepted. 

*Hey Warriors! Have you purchased your 2027 Calumet yearbook? Prices increase to $80 on October 30th, so get yours soon! You can purchase yearbooks on Infinite Campus under "fees” or with cash or check with the AHS Bookkeeper.

Athletics

*Good Luck to our Boys Tennis teams TODAY against the Mullen Mustangs.

*Come get loud for our Girls Field Hockey team TODAY at Centennial Stadium against Boulder.  Varsity will play at 8:30pm following the JV game at 7:30pm.

*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Softball team TODAY at HOME as they take on Cherokee Trail.

*Good luck to our Boys Soccer teams TODAY as they take on Cherry Creek.  Varsity will play at 7:00pm at the Stutler Bowl.  Our JV team will play at 4:30pm at Village Greens Park.

*Come cheer on our Girls Volleyball teams TODAY against Cherokee Trail.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm following JV @ 5:00pm.  Sophmore team will play at 4:30pm and Freshman team will play @ 5:30pm.  All games will be at Cherokee Trail HS.

*Come out and get your football fix when our JV and Freshman Football teams play at HOME TONIGHT!  JV will play at 7:00pm after the Freshman play at 5:00pm.  Games are on the AHS Turf field.

*Warriors, Lifetouch is here TODAY for picture retakes. They will be in the Atrium from 10:15am - 2:15pm. Come between classes, an off period or at lunch if you missed the initial picture day or if you would like to have your picture retaken, this is your opportunity to do so. Students who do not get their picture taken will not be in the yearbook. ALL STUDENTS are required to have a student ID.  You can purchase pictures online at Lifetouch.com using this code - EVTT2QJJZ.

*Congratulations to our Boys Varsity Golf team as they are your Centennial League Champions!  Good Luck to the team TODAY as they take on Fossil Ridge and The Classical Academy.

*Come pack the stands for our Girls Volleyball teams TODAY at HOME against Overland.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:00pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium.  Sophomore team will play @ 4:30pm followed by Freshman team 5:30pm in the Aux gym.  

*Good luck to our Boys Tennis teams TODAY as they take on the Grandview Wolves.  Varsity will play at the Holly Tennis courts and JV Black & Gold will play at Grandview HS.

*Congratulations to our Arapahoe Mountain Bike Team on a great season so far! Cooper McDonagh finished 2nd and Preston Meyers finished 8th putting two Warriors in the top 10! A special shoutout to Max, Cole and Grant for making huge jumps in their finish positions. And congratulations to Vanessa, Keiryn and Bridget for their outstanding contributions to the team. Their next race is Sunday, Sept. 27th in Eagle.

*Good luck to our Boys Tennis teams TODAY against Heritage.  Varsity will play at Heritage tennis courts.  JV Black and Gold will play at Holly tennis courts.  All matches start at 3:30pm.

*Please support ABK Boys Soccer TODAY at Zell’s from 8:00am-8:pm.  Stop in this morning for coffee and a breakfast sandwich.  Refuel later with a smoothie or Italian soda!  Grab a panini or grilled cheese with soup for lunch.  Order a savory or sweet crepe for dinner and dessert!  The menu is HUGE!  20% of the proceeds will go to ABK Boys Soccer when you mention ABK Soccer at the time of purchase.

*This is a GREAT Wild West Homecoming Week!  Join us TONIGHT to cheer on our Warrior football team and congratulate your Homecoming Royalty during halftime.  Then TOMORROW come line the streets and cheer on your Wild West Parade.  The parade will start in the West parking lot and end at the Streets of Southglenn.  See you at the Homecoming Dance @ 8:00pm
