 General Announcements

*Warriors - it’s Teacher Appreciation Week.  Make sure to thank those teachers who have made a difference for you here at Arapahoe.  

*Hey Juniors and Seniors - Prom and After Prom are this Saturday, May 9th.  Tickets for both events will be on sale during both lunches TODAY & TOMORROW in the Cafeteria.  Don’t miss out on the events of the YEAR!! These are Junior/Senior ONLY events (underclassmen can only come with an upperclassmen).  Guest passes for students from other schools are available at the Front Desk or Attendance Office.  Guest forms must be turned in before attending Prom.  

Seniors- The Class of 2026 Senior Exit Survey is in your inbox and on the Post Secondary Center website!  If you know your plan for the fall, don't delay!  It must be completed in order to pick up your cap and gown on May 15th!

*Over the past school year, your AHS Daily Announcements have been brought to you by some very dedicated students.  Thank you to Lucy, Sophia, Quinn, Maggie, Caley, Marley, Pearl, Nola, Kerri & Millie!  If you see them, give them a big THANK YOU!

*Calling all students!  Would you like to be an AHS Daily Announcer for the 2026-27 school year? We need a few students who would like to commit to 1 day a week for the year or even just a semester, giving AHS news to our students and staff through our daily announcements.  Come to the Front Desk and sign up for a time to try-out!  Let your voice shine through our Daily Announcements.

*Good luck to our LPS Boys Volleyball team TODAY in the first round of the  5A CHSAA Boys Volleyball State playoffs against Legacy at Fountain-Ft. Carson High School.

*Good luck to our Warrior Girls Tennis players at the 5A CHSAA State Championships TODAY through Saturday.

*Come pack the stands and get loud for our Warrior Track & Field athletes TODAY at the Centennial League Championships at Littleton Stadium starting at 4:00pm.  

*Let’s cheer on our Girls Lacrosse team TONIGHT in the 1st round of 5A CHSAA Girls Lacrosse playoffs against Thunder Ridge at Centennial Stadium at 5:30pm.

*Come out and cheer on your Varsity Baseball team TODAY at HOME against Eaglecrest starting at 4:15pm.

*Join us for the 3rd Annual Cultures of Arapahoe, presented by the Multicultural Student Alliances along with the AHS Vocal Music. The event will take place TOMORROW with the cultural fair from 5:00–6:30pm in the cafeteria, followed by the Music From Around the World concert at 7:00pm in the theater.  This event is FREE and everyone is welcome!

*Congratulations to the 2026 Boys Swimming & Diving Centennial League Champions... YOUR ARAPAHOE WARRIORS!! The Warriors shocked the league and moved up from 5th place in 2025 to win it all this year! AHS Head Coach Eric Eikenbary was named ‘Coach of the Year’ for the league. The team qualified an unbelievable 21 athletes to the next weekend's CHSAA 5A State Championships.  Good luck guys!

*CONGRATULATIONS to our LPS Boys Volleyball team.  They are Region 2 Champions!  Next, on to State.

*Good luck to our Girls Varsity and JV Golf teams at Murphy Creek Golf Course TODAY!

*The Arapahoe Boys Varsity Lacrosse team will be honoring their Seniors TONIGHT at their senior night game. Come help us celebrate and honor those graduating.  Come cheer them on to victory against Mountain Vista, their final matchup of the regular season! Faceoff starts @ 7:00pm Littleton Stadium See you there!  JV will play at 4:30pm at Powell MS.

*Good luck to our Girls Lacrosse team TONIGHT against Eaglecrest.  Varsity will play at 6:00pm at Legacy Stadium.  JV will play at 4:30pm at Eaglecrest HS.

*Come out and support your Warriors Boys Swimming and Diving team this weekend starting TONIGHT as they host the Centennial ‘A’ League Swimming and Diving Championships here at Arapahoe. Swimming prelims begin at 5:30pm.  Diving will be held Saturday morning at 9:00am, and swimming finals will start Saturday at 2:00pm.  Good luck boys, you got this!

*Come cheer on our Boys LPS Volleyball team TOMORROW @ HOME at Regional competition. The boys will play Boulder at 9:00am and Denver East @ 1:00pm.  

*Good luck to our Girls Soccer teams TOMORROW against Thomas Jefferson.  Varsity will play at noon at TJ High School and C team will play 10:00am.

*Good luck to our Boys Baseball teams TOMORROW against Cherry Creek.  Varsity will play at 11:00am and JV will play at 2:00pm.  Both games are at Cherry Creek HS.  Sophomore team will play at 11:00am and Freshman team will play at 1:30pm here at HOME!
