 General Announcements

*Hey Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors - Baylor University will be visiting the Post Secondary Center on Wednesday at 11:35am.  Next week look for Miami of Ohio and the Marines to talk about NROTC, College and Enlistment. Sign up in Scoir.


*Warriors - get ready for the best time of the year - WARRIOR WEEK!  Next week, get ready to have some fun while helping to raise money through Make-a-Wish Colorado for our Wish Kid, Flora who is battling a life threatening illness.  Details for events & activities are on posters throughout the school, our AHS social media and on these announcements.  


*Attention Warriors! Dance Club begins this Wednesday at 8:40am in the Atrium.  For the month of April, we'll be learning Line Dancing. No experience needed. Everyone is welcome! Come join us and start your day on a fun note. 


*Sexuality and Gender Alliance Club would like to recognize that today, March 31st, is International Transgender Day of Visibility. This day is dedicated to celebrating the achievements, joy, and resilience of transgender and non-binary people worldwide, while raising awareness against discrimination. Established in 2010, this day fosters empowerment and highlights the need for equality. 



Athletics

*Good luck to our Girls Tennis teams TODAY.  Varsity plays Mullen at 3:45pm @ Pinehurst Country Club and JV plays Mullen at Holly Tennis Courts, also at 3:45pm.  JV Gold will play Colorado Academy at CA.


*Come cheer on your Boys Swimming & Diving team TODAY as they take on Smoky Hill at HOME at 5:00pm.


*Good luck to our Girls Golf teams TODAY.  Varsity is in League play at Saddlerock Golf Course and JV plays Heritage & Littleton at South Suburban Golf Course.  


*Good Luck to our Boys LPS Volleyball teams TODAY against Eaglecrest @ Eaglecrest.  Varsity plays at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:30pm.  D Team will play @ 5:15pm after C Team plays at 4:15pm.  


*Flag Football Offseason Practices begin TODAY and runs Tuesdays through Thursdays until May 14th, 5:30pm-7:00pm on the North Grass Field. Come out to receive and give great energy with the exciting new sport of flag football as the catalyst! New and returning players are welcomed.


*The last day to sign up for Guy Cheers/Tom Boys is TODAY! If you are interested in being a part of the fun please visit this link to sign up! The first practice is this Thursday!

*Congratulations to junior Karson Hilgert for an impressive 5th-place finish in the Elite High School Girls division at the National Climbing Championship on Saturday, March 21. Karson's performance caps off a fantastic season for the Arapahoe Climbing Team.

Come support our ‘HOP for Miracles’ fundraiser, an English 12 Capstone Project supporting infertility awareness for young families, at Panera Bread in Highlands Ranch on Monday, March 30th from 4:00pm-8:00pm. To make sure your purchase counts, you must show the fundraiser flyer at checkout. Flyers will be posted in the cafeteria and the library. You can take a picture of it so your order goes toward our fundraiser! Bring your friends and family and help support a great cause!

*Warriors - on March 25th, the Wednesday of Spring Break, the English 12 Capstone Project "Fresh Start" will be hosting a fundraiser night at Qdoba from 4:00pm-close. Our group is supporting people in our community who are re-entering society after incarceration by providing resources for a fresh start. We would love to see you at Qdoba to support and learn more about the cause.

*Good luck to our Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY as they take on Denver North at Denver North HS at 4:00pm.  JV will play @ HOME at 4:00pm.  Then come cheer on your Varsity team TOMORROW @ HOME as they take on Denver East @ 11:00am.  The Sophomore team will play at 2:00pm.


*Good luck to our Girls Lacrosse team TOMORROW as they take on Aspen at 11:00am, then Telluride at 2:00pm.  Both games are at Aspen High School.

Our 13-year-old Wish Kid is Flora who loves Selena Gomez, cooking, Roblox, music and acting and is the inspiration behind our fun, adventure-filled theme.  We are looking for clubs to host a booth with a game, activity or food and would be thrilled to have you involved. See Mrs. Romero in the Library for more details

*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Golf team TODAY against Heritage at Meadow Hills Golf Course.  JV will take on Colorado Academy at Foothills Golf Course.

*Come out and cheer on your Girls Varsity Lacrosse team TONIGHT @ Centennial Stadium at 7:00pm against our cross town rival Heritage!  JV will play before @ 5:00pm.

*Good luck to our Girls Varsity Soccer team TONIGHT as they take on Rampart at D20 Stadium at 7:00pm.  JV will play at 4:30pm at Rampart High School.

*Join AHS Baseball TONIGHT at Parry’s Pizza at Streets of Southglenn for our fundraising restaurant day. Stop by for lunch or dinner with your friends and family and let them know you're there to support AHS Baseball so it counts towards our fundraiser. See you there!

Our group is supporting people in our community who are re-entering society after incarceration by providing resources for a fresh start. We would love to see you at Qdoba to support and learn more about the cause.
