 General Announcements

*Attention Warriors!  Come find your spot at AHS by joining us at our annual Club Cafe during both lunches on Wednesday, September 2. You can check out and sign up for all the different clubs Arapahoe has to offer. Find something you’re into, meet new people, and maybe discover your new favorite thing to do at school! See you there! 

*The Warrior Mountain Bike Team had a strong showing in Frisco this weekend for their first race.  Twenty-one riders, made up of both girls and boys, represented Arapahoe, many setting personal records.  There are three races left in the season, so still time to join. Stop by Club Café on Wednesday for more info! 

*New Club Alert: Animation Nation! Are you interested in animation, digital art, or storytelling? Join the new Animation Nation Club. Meetings will be held every Tuesday from 3:35pm-4:45pm in the Forum. Whether you are an experienced artist or just curious to learn, all students are welcome. Come check it out! 

*If you are interested in joining the Outdoor Activities Club...the Sports Broadcasting Club...or Warriors of the Word - there will be an informational meeting TOMORROW after school in Mr. Brandberg's room, C1465.  If you cannot attend, please see Mr. Brandberg to express your interest. 

*Hey Junior and Seniors - Loyola Chicago and Davidson College are visiting the PSC on Tuesday,  Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and High Point on Wednesday,  Trinity University, San Diego State, University of Minnesota on Thursday and University of Kansas on Friday!  Sign up in Scoir (SCORE) or stop into S1401 for more details. 

*Are you a student-athlete? Then Morgan’s Message is for you! The first club meeting is this Friday, September 4th at 7:30am in room S1414. We will talk about the importance of strong mental health in athletes. We hope to see you there!

*Warriors! Get ready for the upcoming Heritage vs. Arapahoe Football game on Thursday, September 3 @ 6:00pm at Littleton Stadium.  

• Student Tickets will be available for purchase in the AHS Cafeteria during both lunch periods starting TODAY through Thursday, September 3rd.    AHS Athletic Passes CANNOT be used for this game. 

• Adult Tickets can be purchased at the Bubble (East Main) Entrance from noon-2:00pm starting TODAY through Thursday, September 3rd. 

• Please Note: only CASH OR CHECK will be accepted. 

• No online ticket sales will be available for this game.

• Ticket Prices: Adults - $7, Students - $5, 65 and older are FREE.  Any remaining tickets will be sold at the gate before the game, but this match up might sell out.

*Good luck to our Warrior Cross Country team this coming Saturday at the Liberty Bell Invitational!  Congratulations to all the runners that competed this past Saturday at the Cherry Creek Steven Lohman Invitational and to the Girls Fresh/Soph team for placing 3rd overall!

*Good luck to the Arapahoe Mountain Bike Team, as they compete in their first race of the season, this Sunday, August 30th in Frisco, CO.  JV races starts 8:20am and the last race starts at 2:00pm. Come cheer on the team at the Frisco Adventure Park.

*Warriors - grab your baguettes and berets, we are going to France! Get that iconic selfie with the Eiffel tower, create your own pastries alongside a french chef, visit an oyster farm on the seaside, take a river cruise through Paris and enjoy so much French culture along the way. Sign up by September 11th.  Let’s make this the biggest, most WILD Homecoming Parade yet!

*Come cheer on your Girls Volleyball team TONIGHT @ HOME against Columbine.  Varsity will play at 6:30pm after JV plays at 5:00pm.  The Freshman team will play at 5:30pm.

*Are you an Ultimate Frisbee fan? Ultimate Frisbee is a fun filled, high intensity game that builds athleticism and community.  Join our Arapahoe Ultimate Frisbee Club TODAY after school @ 3:45pm on the Band practice field.
