 General Announcements

*Hey Seniors - just a quick reminder - Check your email and complete the Google Form to record how to pronounce your name for graduation. Please use a computer (NOT YOUR PHONE), follow the directions on the form, due by May 15.  Need help? Stop by Student Services.

*Warriors - we won’t be doing Daily Announcements over the PA next week during Finals.  We will still share them with Staff & Faculty and post on the AHS website under ‘Daily Announcements’.  We’re still looking for a few students to help with Daily Announcements next school year.  Come to the Front Desk and sign up for a time to try-out!

*The AHS Warriors Water Polo Club will hold an informational meeting after school on Wednesday at 6:45pm for all student athletes who want to join the team in the fall. All new and returning players should meet in the Forum.  Parents are encouraged to attend as well.  For more information, see Coach Randy Hyre OR email him  rhyre@lps.k12.co.us OR visit our website.  

*Warriors, this Friday, students in grades 9-11 are encouraged to join the counseling team during both lunches outside the cafeteria near the bus loop for our Spring De-Stress event. We’ll have popsicles, sidewalk chalk, and bubbles to help your finals stress  float on by!

*Hey Warriors, if you had artwork displayed in the Art Attack Show and have not yet picked it up, please stop by the Art department to see your teacher and pick it up. All artwork must be picked up by the end of the week.

*Good luck to our Track & Field Warriors at the 5A CHSAA State Track & Field Championships TODAY!

*If you are interested in playing Field Hockey for the Fall 2026 season, please join us for an Interest meeting on Monday, May 18th at 5:00 pm in the Forum. We will be discussing summer opportunities, tryouts and next year's season. We encourage anyone interested in playing the sport for the first time to attend as well! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. DeMello in the counseling office. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!

*Join AHS Baseball TONIGHT at CHIPOTLE for our fundraising restaurant night. Stop by 5:00-9:00pm for dinner with your friends and family and let them know you're there to support AHS Baseball. Use code NHMBW4A. See you at CHIPOTLE TONIGHT!

*Congratulations to your Boys Swimming and Diving team on their 5th place team finish at the CHSAA 5A Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend. That is an amazing 14 place improvement over last season. The 200 Free Relay team of JJ Baber, Tyler Ohlgren, Henry Scott, and Brody Wiesner broke the Arapahoe school record. Head Coach Eric Eikenbary was awarded the CHSAA 5A Boys Swimming Coach of the Year honors. What an amazing season for our Warriors!

*Congratulations to our LPS Boys Volleyball team for taking 4th at the 5A CHSAA Boys Volleyball State Championships.

 General Announcements

*Warriors - it’s Teacher Appreciation Week.  Make sure to thank those teachers who have made a difference for you here at Arapahoe.  

*We wrapped up Capstone Finals last night! Congratulations to our Top 6 finalist teams for the incredible impact they made this semester: Warriors for Warriors, Love that Sparks, Fresh Start, Chance for Children’s, HOP for Miracles, and Power Beyond Speech.  The 2026 Capstone Winner: Power Beyond Speech — McKinley Cain, Marshall Foster, Marleigh Nelson, Gabe Nix, and Jayden Tackitt — for raising funds to provide a communication device for a preschool student at The Village and supporting her communication growth throughout the semester.  Congratulations to all of our teams for your compassion, service, money raised, hours served and love given to people in our community!

*Hey Juniors and Seniors - Prom and After Prom are this Saturday, May 9th.  Tickets for both events will be on sale during both lunches TODAY in the Cafeteria.  Guest forms must be turned in before attending Prom.  

*Warriors it’s time to start getting ready for the 2026-27 school year.  Freshman, Sophomore, and Juniors, we need you to VOTE for next year’s Student Council Executive Positions. Look for the QR code around school to watch the campaign videos and make your voice heard by VOTING for the STUCO Executive Officers.

Seniors- The Class of 2026 Senior Exit Survey is in your inbox and on the Post Secondary Center website!  If you know your plan for the fall, don't delay!  It must be completed in order to pick up your cap and gown on May 15th!

*Congratulations to our LPS Boys Volleyball team as they defeated the Legacy Lightening Bolts in the 1st round of the 5A CHSAA Boys Volleyball State Championships.   They will play the Grandview Wolves TODAY @ 2:15pm.

*Good luck to our Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY as they take on the Eaglecrest Raptors at Eaglecrest HS at 4:15pm.

*Come cheer on our Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse team TOMORROW as they officially start their playoff run!  We need you at Centennial Stadium at 11:00am to get loud as our Warriors take on the Lakewood Tigers. See you there!

*Good luck to our  Warrior Track & Field athletes TOMORROW  at the Finals of the Centennial League Championships at Littleton Stadium starting at 8:00am.
