 General Announcements

*Attention Seniors! Your Senior Class Panoramic Pictures will be taken on Tuesday, August 18th  @ 8:20am in the gym. Remember - this is the ONLY time pictures will be taken of your whole Senior class, so DON'T MISS OUT! You only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE on August 18th!  

*Attention, all Warrior Water Polo athletes and any students interested in playing on the team this fall.  There is a mandatory meeting for players and parents after school TODAY at 3:55pm at the pool.  If you’re interested in seeing what water polo is all about, feel free to come to the meeting and check out the practice that starts right after.  For more information, email

*Warriors, get ready for the ‘Back to School’ dance on Friday, Aug 14th!  This dance is just for AHS students.  Make sure to bring your student ID, wear white and join us in the West parking lot @ 8:00pm.

 General Announcements

*Welcome back Warriors!  These are your Daily Announcements.  Announcements will be read over the PA everyday at the beginning of 3rd or 4th period.  Announcements include activity and athletic updates, upcoming events as well as academic information from the post secondary, counseling, administrators, etc.

*Warriors - if you haven’t had your Student ID photo taken, Lifetouch photographers are in the Atrium ALL DAY TODAY.  Stop by during lunch or a free hour for your photo and student ID.

*The AHS Warriors Water Polo Club team will hold a mandatory meeting after school TOMORROW, August 12th at 3:55pm at the AHS Pool for all student athletes who want to join the team.   The season starts tomorrow and goes through the end of October. All new, returning players and parents are invited to join us.  Can’t wait to see you there.

*Warriors - if you haven’t picked up your 2025-26 Calumet Yearbook, please stop by the Journalism room E1288.  

*Attention Warriors - Do you have medication stored in the Health Office? If so, it's time to take it home. Please see Mrs. Farley in the Health Office any day until Thursday, May 21st to pick it up. 

*Please come check the Lost & Found table in the cafeteria to see if any of your items are there.  We will keep the table up until the end of finals.  Items will then be donated. 

*Attention Class of 2028 - AHS Jerseys are BACK!  Please complete the Google form that was shared in TRIBE and on AHS instragram page.  Order by the end of May to pick up your jersey on the first day of your junior year.  See Mrs Winn, Mrs Jackie Johnson or Mrs Grantham with questions.   

*Attention Seniors! Seniors!  Yes, Class of 2027, that's you!   It's time to order your overalls!  Let's continue our great WWW tradition AND start a new one!  All boys interested in purchasing the striped overalls should do so now to make sure you have them for your first day of senior year!  See Mrs Winn or Mrs Jackie Johnson with questions.

*Good luck to our 4 Warrior Girl Golfers at the 5A CHSAA Girls Golf State Championship TODAY at Thorncreek Golf Course.

*Congratulations to our Boys and Girls Track and Field Team that competed at the State meet this past weekend. All of our athletes competed well. We had five individuals place and get on the podium:

• Alexa LeDuff placed 8th in the High Jump

• Tatum Gobble placed 5th in the Pole Vault

• Maeve Vancik placed 7th in the 1600 meters, and 8th in the 800 meters

• Isaac Wadsworth placed 8th in the 300 meter hurdles

• Marcello Jaramillo was the STATE CHAMPION in the 100 meters
