*Seniors: are you planning to major in a STEM field this fall? Check out University Hills Rotary Scholarship worth up to $6000 toward your education! You must have a 3.0 GPA and demonstrated financial need. Apply by February 28th.  Stop by the Postsecondary Center for more information.

Athletics

*Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving team who won their final dual meet of the season last night against Eaglecrest!  The girls finished their dual meet season with a record of 5-2-1. The girls are next in action tomorrow at the Centennial B-League Championships at Smoky Hill. Good luck to all our swimmers and diver!

*Hey Warriors - are you the King or Queen of Basketball Knockout? If you think you are then come and prove it TOMORROW at the Girl's Basketball game against Mullen at Sitting Eagle Gym. At halftime, we'll have a Knockout basketball contest for the first 20 students to pick up a raffle ticket. If you win the game you will win some free Chick-fil-a! Come on out and show your skills! The game starts at 5:30pm, see you there!

*Arapahoe Toms Dance team is having their annual Jr. Toms Winter Dance Clinic on February 5th from 4:30pm-7:30pm! Calling all K-8 dancers to come learn a routine and perform with the Toms at halftime of the varsity basketball game.  Register by clicking here  or scan the QR code on our flyer.  Register by January 25th to guarantee T-shirt size.

*Calling all Warriors - Are you King or Queen of the Half Court shot?  If you think you are then come and prove it TOMORROW at the Boy's Basketball game against Mullen in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium! At halftime, we’ll have a Knockout basketball contest for the first 20 students to pick up a raffle ticket. If you make a half court shot, you will win a certificate for a Free Jersey Mike's sub sandwich! Come on out and show your skills! The game starts at 7:00pm.

*The Boys Swimming & Diving team will be holding their organizational meeting next Tuesday, January 28 at 7:00pm in the Forum.  Be sure to attend the meeting to get important information on the upcoming season.  The Boys Swimming & Diving team is a no-cut spring sport that welcomes all levels of swimmers and divers!

*Warriors - the 2025 LPS Boys Volleyball open gyms start next week!! Try one of the fastest growing boys sports in the country.  Check out our website and join our email list to receive information about open gyms and tryouts for the 2025 season!

*Attention all FBLA Members! We have a required help session for those presenting or in roleplays in the Forum TODAY at 3:35! Come ready to practice your role-plays and presentations! You must attend if you haven’t attended one yet and you would like to letter if you can't make this one see Mrs. Swank or Mr. Wolsky for help.

*Congratulations to your Boys Varsity Basketball team who began league play last night with a 49-38 on the road over Cherokee Trail. Catch your boys in action again at home Saturday as they take on the Mullen Mustangs. The varsity team tips off at 7:00 p.m. in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Don't forget, there will be contests at halftime of both the girls and boys varsity games where you can win fun prizes. Let's Go Warriors!

*Warriors - anyone interested in participating in Track and Field this spring, there will be a brief meeting TODAY, Wednesday, in room C1464 after school regarding uniform orders. If you can't make it, please see Coach Wadsworth in the Counseling office to get the information.

*Congratulations to our Freshman and Sophomore Boys Basketball teams for their victories over Cherokee Trail last night in our Centennial League opener with scores of 54-38 and 45-40 respectively. Your Varsity and JV boys take on CT on the road TONIGHT as they begin Centennial League play. Varsity boys tip off right after the girls game at 7:00 p.m. You can catch them at home again on Saturday when we host Mullen. There will be fun halftime contests for students during halftime of both the girls and boys varsity games Saturday. You won't want to miss it!  Goooooo Warriors!!

*Warriors - pack the house TONIGHT for your UNIFIED Basketball team as they take on Columbine at 5:30pm at HOME. Come unify with us for our first home game of the season.  Let's Go Warriors!

*Hey Warriors - come cheer on your 6th ranked Boys Varsity Basketball team in action TONIGHT @ HOME against Columbine.  Tip off is at 7:30pm in Sitting Eagle Gymnasium. Go Warriors!

*Warriors - TONIGHT is Senior Night for our AHS Cheerleading team. Help us celebrate our FANTASTIC Seniors during halftime of the Varsity game. 

*Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving team on earning their second tie of the season!  In another come from behind scenario the girls were able to win the final relay to secure the tie on Grandview's senior night.  The team is back in action TOMORROW at HOME against Littleton and Heritage.  Swimming events begin at 9:00 and diving begins at approximately 12:00.  Good luck girls! Keep working hard and swimming fast!
