General Announcements

*Anyone interested in becoming a better coder and participating in code events, please join the Computer Science Coding Club Tuesday from , 3:30 pm - 4:15 pm after school in Ms. Bownds' room, N1496. We look forward to seeing you there!

*Defy reality with Oculus! Stop by the Tech Experience Lab in the Soldier Wolf study room during 4th period! Come experience the VR headset that is redefining digital gaming. We'll be keeping score on Beat Saber! Highest score on a normal difficulty song by February 20th will receive a prize! 

*Seniors! Herff Jones, our official graduation partner, will be here on Thursday, February, 17th from 11:45 am - 2:15 pm to deliver your official graduation announcements. If you placed an order for graduation announcements, make sure to stop by and see Herff Jones in the main entrance bubble to pick up your order. Still interested in ordering graduation announcements? Athletics

*Wishing the best of luck to our Varsity Toms as they head to Orlando, Florida, this Wednesday for their National Dance Competition. The Toms will be competing in the Game Day, Pom, and Hip-Hop categories. Hey Toms, IT IS TIME!!

*Congratulations to AHS Swim & Dive for taking 1st place in the B League!

*If you are interested in playing Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse this spring, please attend the pre-season Parent/Player meeting tomorrow, February 1st, at 7:00 pm in the AHS Forum to learn all about tryouts and the upcoming season. 

*Anyone interested in being a part of the 2022 Arapahoe Warrior Track and Field Team should attend an informational meeting Monday, February 7th at 3:40 pm in room W-1529. We will be discussing the upcoming spring season and our pre-season mini camp. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family. If you are unable to attend please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of the week.

*Come support your Unified Warriors Basketball Team on Wednesday, February 2nd at Smoky Hill and Friday, February 4th, at home against Overland! Both games start at 4:15.  See you there!

*Interested in playing Girls Golf this spring? Please plan on attending the mandatory parent-player meeting on Wednesday, February 2nd, in the Forum at 6:00 pm. See Coach Riordan in the World Languages Office if you have any questions.

*For any girls interested in playing soccer this spring, there will be a brief pre-season meeting on Wednesday, February 2nd, in the Forum at 3:45 pm.

*Arapahoe has 53 athletes representing our school in the Centennial A League Championships this weekend. All events are at Arapahoe.

*So you think you can dance? Then we want to see your moves!! Tryouts for the 2022-23 Toms dance team will take place March 15-18th. There will be an informational meeting for Parents and Dancers on Tuesday, February 15th at 6:30 pm in the Forum. Attendance at an informational meeting will be required in order to audition.

*Saturday the 29th at 10:00 am the Girls Swim Team heads to Smoky Hill to compete in the Centennial B League Championship meet.

*Attention Freshmen!  Hearing and Vision Testing is taking place this week till Thursday. You will be tested during your U.S. History class. The Hearing and Vision Truck is located in the East Parking Lot. You can use the east doors by the Art department to exit the building. Please be sure to wear and/or bring your glasses or contacts to school this week.

*If you’re a graduating senior who has relocated to the Denver metro area during high school, consider applying for the Rocky Mountain Relocation Council Scholarship! Lucky winners will receive $3000 in tuition assistance. Applications due by February 15th. See more details in Naviance or stop by the Post-Secondary Center in room S1401 for more information.
