*Former Students of Powell Middle School, please refrain from "visiting" Powell Middle School during their school hours (8:45 am-3:50 pm).  You are only allowed to be on their campus if you have communicated with the teacher you are planning to "visit" ahead of time, and scheduled a visit with them after school hours. If you are discovered on campus or in the school without prior permission, you will be asked to leave.  If you continue to come on campus after being asked to leave, you may be ticketed for trespassing on school grounds.

*Congratulations to the Warrior Girls Golf Team of Courtney Packer, Sloane Post, Ella Chism and Sammy Packer for finishing 4th at State. Special shout out to Courtney Packer for shooting a 76 in very tough conditions and finishing in the top 10! Great season Warriors!

*Congratulations to the Warrior ABK Girls Soccer Team for their second place finish in state! Way to go Warriors!

*Students interested in riding the spirit bus, please stop by the Athletic Office before noon on Wednesday to sign up.  There is no cost to ride the bus (students must ride the bus back to AHS after the game). You will also need to bring $8 for admissions to the game.

*Warriors!  Your ABK Varsity Girl's soccer team battled tough on Saturday and defeated Rocky Mountain with a score of 3-2 in a very exciting State Semifinal Game.  Thank you to all the ABK fans that came out, stayed through two lightning delays and cheered them on to victory!!! Next up – the 5A Championship game at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park, this Wednesday night against league rival Grandview – for the State Title!  Game time will be 7:00 PM with ticket prices set at $10 for adults and $8 for students K-12 and Senior Citizens. *Cap and gown pickup is this Friday at 2:00 PM following Fun in the Sun Day.  Seniors, complete the Senior Exit Survey, pay outstanding fees & fines to the bookkeeper, and return your chromebooks, power cords and any other library items to the library before you leave the building on Thursday to avoid being delayed at cap and gown pickup.

*Seniors! Invitations went out for Awards Convocation.  If you are graduating with high honors (3.8 or above), honors (3.5 or above), or if you are accepting a scholarship award, you have been invited to attend this special ceremony on Monday, May 20th at 6:00 pm in the theater. If you are unsure if you have submitted the necessary paperwork, see Mrs. Hall today.

*Senior lockers must be cleared out by 4:00 PM TODAY.

*Congratulations to Mr. Hawthorne's "Cars & U.S. History" class for putting on a successful charity car show this past Saturday.  Nearly 50 owners showed off their cars raising $640 with the proceeds benefiting St. Jude Children's Hospital. Just another way AHS students give back to the community!  Way to go!"

*At the last meet of the season, four Arapahoe swimmers qualified for State: Matthew Carey, Kieran Pope, Atticus Conn and Sawyer Zusi. Arapahoe will have fourteen swimmers and three divers participating in the State Championships this Thursday and Friday!

*Congratulations to the ABK Varsity Lady Warriors as they defeated Cherry Creek last Friday night with a score of 2-1!!!  ABK has the best fans and they would appreciate all the fan support they can get this Wednesday at 8:00 PM as they face Rampart in the quarter finals at Liberty High School, District 20 Stadium in Colorado Springs. Please come out and cheer them on as they take the next step in their playoff journey. GO ABK!!!

*Your varsity baseball Warriors play their last home regular season game today.  Come out to the field at 4:15 PM to watch the boys beat Creek. Go Warriors!

*The Boys Lacrosse Season ended Saturday in the elite 8 round of the playoffs with an 8-7 loss to Highlands Ranch. The players, coaches and parents alike would like to thank the entire Arapahoe community for their boundless support this year.  We truly have the best High School Lacrosse fans in the entire state!

*Hey Warriors!  We need you to come out and make some noise for ABK!  Your Girls Varsity Soccer Team plays Cherry Creek in the second round of the 5A State Championship Soccer Tournament, at Legacy Stadium at 5:30pm today!  Please come out and support this amazing team in the next step of their playoff journey.

*The Warrior Boys Lacrosse team initiated tournament play Wednesday with a 15-10 victory over Chaparral.  They now enter the Elite 8 round on Saturday, 3:00 PM versus Highlands Ranch. This contest will be played on a neutral field at Legacy Stadium in Aurora. As always, the team and staff appreciate all of the great fan support received during playoff time!
