Are you attending the AHS Homecoming Dance on September 15th? Would you like to bring a guest from another school? If so, please download the Guest Approval Form from the September DrumBeat that you and your family will receive today via email or stop by the Main office to pick one up. Forms must be back by September 11th.

Hey Warriors! All students are invited TONIGHT to attend the Link Crew Varsity Tailgate at LPS Stadium at 6 p.m. before the Varsity Football game that starts at 7! For only $3 everyone is invited to eat food and hang out before our first home football game! There will be Jimmy John’s sandwiches, chips, and drinks as well as games, music, and other fun activities. Hope to see you all there!

Attention Volleyball Fans...wish your Varsity Volleyball Warriors luck as they have 4 matches this weekend at the Regis Jam. The girls take on Chaparral at 4.45 on Friday at the Gold Crown Field House. Come join us and cheer them on!!

The AHS boys varsity soccer team WON 1-0 last night against Heritage. Cameron Gail got the goal and the defensive work was led by Goalie Spencer Cobb. JV was victorious as well by a score of 2-1. Way to go Warriors!

The JV Gold boys tennis team won their match against Ralston Valley last night, 6 to 1. Shout out to Beau Moody and Jack Paulsen for their 6-0, 6-0 victory at three doubles!

Congrats to the Varsity softball team for a hard fought win against Ponderosa yesterday. Your Lady Warriors defeated the Mustangs 6-4 in a competitive game. That brings the teams record to 5 and 2. The JV and Varsity team are back in action tomorrow against Pine Creek. Good Luck Warriors!

Congrats to the LPS Girls JV Gymnastics Team on their 2nd place finish over Cherry Creek last night! Individual accomplishments include: 4th place on Bars for Michaela Cain; 5th place on floor for Shia Coughlin; and 6th place on floor for Michaela Cain. Kudos to varsity team members Aspen Fredericks and Hope Jones on their 6th place finishes on floor and bars respectively. 

Your Arapahoe Varsity Boys’ Soccer team plays at LPS stadium tonight at 6:30 against our rival Heritage. The Arapahoe JV team plays at Heritage High School at 4:30 today. 

Congratulations to the boys fresh/soph soccer team for their 3-0 victory over Heritage yesterday. The goals were scored by Ben Green and Thomas Levy.

Congrats to the JV softball team for defeating Denver East yesterday with a score of 22 to 2. Great job ladies. Good Luck against Pine Creek on Friday. Also, congratulations to the Varsity softball team for beating Denver East yesterday with a score of 20 to 0. A dominate pitching performance by Kayleigh Krueger and Michelle Salazar shut down the Angels hitters. Your Lady Warriors had a great offensive game, which included a Grand Slam hit by Kali March. We are back in action today at 4:30 against Ponderosa. Come out to the AHS softball field and cheer on your Lady Warriors. Good Luck Ladies!

The Arapahoe Boys’ Varsity Soccer team plays George Washington High School at George Washington HS today at 4:00. The Arapahoe Junior Varsity plays the George Washington JV squad immediately following the Varsity game. Good Luck Warriors!

Congrats to the JV Gold boys tennis team for their V2 win over Chatfield yesterday. Jared Butterman and Kian Murray won their Doubles 1 match in a tight third set tie break to seal the 7 and 0 victory!

Please find the nomination form in your school email and take time to nominate a classmate you feel best represents these warrior attributes......someone who takes care of others, someone who demonstrates integrity, and someone who shows spirit and pride for their school.

All Girls interested in playing Basketball this coming season, the AHS Girls Basketball Fall Open Gym workouts begin this Thursday 8/23 at 6:00 PM in the Main gym. These are great opportunities to improve individual skills and develop an understanding of our program concepts. Beyond that, you will get to meet and interact with a great group of driven and hardworking young ladies that make up our team. See you Thursday!

Congratulations to the Varsity softball team for their 10:7 win over Horizon yesterday. Your Lady Warriors are currently 2 and 1 on the season. Our home opener is tomorrow at 4:30 against ThunderRidge. This we be the first time the varsity team has played at the school in 15 years. We want to invite all of the students to come out to the game on Thursday. We will be handing out free pizza to Arapahoe students.

Seniors! Come to College Application Boot Camp, which will run for 5 weeks beginning this PLC Wednesday, August 22th at 8:00 AM in the Forum. Boot Camp will help seniors manage the many pieces of the application process by walking them through the processes specific to Arapahoe High School (even students working with college coaches do not know this information), the technical pieces in Naviance, connecting Naviance to the Common App, and the Common Application itself. Sign up by accessing the google form sent to your school email address on August 1st.

Last Wednesday the Golf Team, defending their League Championship last year, by winning the first Tournament by 16 shots. They were lead by Caleb Busta's 69 and Matthew Wilkinson's 71. Congratulations to all the players for an outstanding performance.
