Attention all current freshmen, sophomores, and juniors: you will receive a copy of your schedule for next year TODAY, May 18, after school in the cafeteria from 2:30-3:00. This will be the only time to see your schedule before next year.

If you have an LPS-issued chromebook, please turn it in as early as possible next week and no later than Friday, May 25th. Make sure to also bring your charger. Please see your email for more details. 

Check the lost and found table in the cafeteria today and next week! Next Friday we will donate what’s left!

The Boys Lacrosse season concluded last night in the semifinals with a 12-10 loss to Kent Denver. The coaches and players would like to thank the staff and student body for all of their amazing support provided throughout this year.

Hey Warriors ~ we wish our baseball team the best of luck as they will be playing in the State Tournament on Friday at All-City Stadium. Game time is 9:00 am. Follow Twitter throughout the day on Friday as more games will follow later that day and on Saturday as well.

Attention members of National Honor Society... Our last meeting of the year is happening today after school in the forum. At this meeting, juniors will hold elections for next year's office, so seniors can just drop off service logs then leave. Service logs can also be turned in at Mr. Smith's desk in the science office anytime before the end of the school year. Juniors interested in running for office do not need to register ahead of time, but they should plan to speak about their qualifications for approximately 1 minute. Be sure to look for the flyers posted in the hallways to drop in pencils/pens, notebooks, binders, and more. We are accepting donations now through Wednesday May 23rd. Your donations are truly appreciated!  ​

Congratulations to the “Cars & History” class for organizing Arapahoe’s spring charity car show this past Saturday. Over 40 cars attended the show and the student organizers raised more than $700 for The Children’s Hospital Toy Run in June! Way to go class and thank you to all the students and staff who attended the show.

Congrats to the girls lacrosse team for their 17-5 win over Pine Creek. Quarterfinal round for our Warriors is tomorrow, May 15th at Colorado Academy!

The Warrior boys lacrosse team avenged a regular season loss to Mountain Vista with a 10-8 victory in the playoff quarterfinals last Saturday. Come out and support them on their semifinal journey versus Kent Denver, this Wednesday, 7 p.m. at Legacy Stadium on the Cherokee Trail campus.

Good morning Warriors it is my pleasure to announce that our Varsity baseball team are the 2018 District 2 Champions, defeating Prairie View 12-0 and Fort Collins 5-2 this weekend. Thank you to all of those who came out to support, we move on to the Final 8 starting this Friday.

All proceeds go to a good cause, including Children's Hospital.

Tomorrow night come to the AHS theatre for a night of fun. The theatre topics class kicks it off with the improv show, followed by the Company class performing a wide variety of pieces from plays and musicals. Come join the fun tomorrow night.

Athletics 

The ABK playoffs begin this week with ABK taking on Monarch tonight at 7 pm at the LPS Stadium. Let's fill the stands and make some noise for our Lady Warriors! 

The JV Lacrosse team ended their season on Saturday with a big win against Mountain Vista. Congrats to all the players on a great season. 

The girls tennis team competed in regionals last week and qualified 10 players for the state tournament. Congrats to Kaylee Whitehouse and Solana Williams who placed first at their doubles position. All of the qualifiers will compete in the state tournament Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at Gates Tennis Center.

In addition, the Theatre Topics class will perform a theatre improv show with lots of audience involvement. This is a free show, so come one, come all to the theatre at 6:00 pm on Friday for some fun.

Next Tuesday, May 8th Arapahoe High School will be hosting a Job Fair in the Auxiliary Gym from 3-4:30pm with over 25 employers that are interested in hiring you. For more information about the job fair, please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department office.

Warriors....the 2018 Prom is just a few days away. Please stop by the Prom Ticket tables in the cafeteria on Thursday and Friday this week during both lunches to either purchase your ticket with cash/check or pick up your ticket that you may have purchased online. You must present a Student ID to purchase or pick up your tickets. Your ticket price includes a commemorative Prom T-shirt. Please wear these to school on Friday. We look forward to sharing a great night with you at Mile High Station on May 5th.

Juniors! Next PLC Wednesday, the Post Grad Center will host a college application preview session for juniors in the Forum from 7-8 AM. Find out what you can work on between now and next fall! Athletics 

The Sophomore baseball team will have a game today at Grandview High School starting at 4:30 and their final game of the season will be this Saturday starting at 2:00 pm at home taking on Cherokee Trail High School.

Please come show some school spirit and support our Sophomore baseball team. They have had an amazing season. Thank you coaches for all your support with our boys. Please come out and support your Varsity Girls Soccer Team tonight as they play their final regular season game vs. Regis Jesuit High School at 5pm at Regis. The Lady Warriors have had a great season and have an overall record of 10-3-1 and a league record of 5-1-1. Come cheer them on at this last regular season game as the ABK Varsity prepares for the playoffs!

The Warriors Boys Lacrosse team (ranked 5th) concludes their regular season schedule this Friday with a home game at LHS against archrival and 2nd ranked Mountain Vista at 7:30 pm. Come out and enjoy a Friday Night Lights experience as this team prepares for the playoffs. Go Warriors!!!

Next Tuesday, May 8th Arapahoe High School will be hosting a Job Fair in the Auxiliary Gym from 3-4:30pm with over 25 employers that are interested in hiring you. For more information about the job fair, please see Mr. Sawyer in the Business Department office.

Prom 2018 is just a few days away. YAY! "Start spreading the news...we're selling tickets this week." Here is some very important information about picking up or purchasing your prom tickets. Tickets cost $45.00 and can be purchased this week during all lunch hours from May 1st thru May 4th with cash or check. Students who purchased tickets already online must pick up their Prom tickets this week May 1st thru May 4th during lunch hours. You MUST show your Student ID to receive your tickets. Prom Royalty Voting will also take place when you pick up your tickets this week.

Lights, Camera, Arapahoe! You don’t want to miss out. Canes! Hypno-entertainer! Giving away Apple watches, trips, and cash! After Prom tickets on sale for $20 during both lunches May 2, 3, and 4 in the cafeteria.

The Stoplight Campaign - created by Arapahoe students - is aimed at raising awareness about the dangers of driving under the influence. Any hockey player or parent who would to like play or get more information about playing in the Heritage/LPS High School Hockey Program which is made up of students from Arapahoe, Littleton, Heritage and Options High Schools should attend the New Player Information Meeting. This meeting will introduce the coaches, explain who we are and what Heritage/LPS Hockey is all about. The meeting is tonight, May 1st at 6:00 PM at Heritage High School in the 3rd Floor Lecture Hall. The
