*Attention Seniors:  Herff Jones is here TODAY for you to pick up your graduation announcements you ordered in the fall.  They will be in the bubble from 10:00am-12:00pm.  Make sure you stop by and pick up your items.  


*Hey Warriors! An AHS Capstone project created a Baby Supplies Drive with the goal of collecting items for new mothers in need! If you would like to help out, just bring in new baby clothes, used but clean clothes, and/or any toys or new diapers to help out the cause starting March 1st.  Donation boxes are located at the library and at the bubble. Thank you for helping make a difference in our community!


*There will be a FREE Alive @ 25 class TOMORROW, March 1st at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W-1874.  This is a 4 1/2 hour class.  The Sheriff’s Office will pay the $79 fee if you are voluntarily taking the class.  If you are 15 ½,  you can get a driver's permit after taking the class.  You can still sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us  and use the password "arapahoe".   Any questions ask Deputy Englert

*Hey Warriors, your Arapahoe Girls Basketball team wants to thank the AMAZING student section for their support at last Friday night's win over Thunder Ridge. You were Loud and Proud.  But, we need you even more this Saturday at the Denver Coliseum at 4:00pm for the Elite 8 game against Valor Christian. Our Student section at the Coliseum has an amazing reputation for "packing the house and bringing the ENERGY". Please find a way to make it to the Coliseum this Saturday and be Loud and Proud again and cheer on this amazing Girls Basketball team!

*Congratulations to the Arapahoe Winter Guard for a great performance at Columbine High School over the weekend.  The team scored a 61.73, up almost 9 points from their score two weeks ago at Legacy.  Such a huge improvement in just two weeks!  Keep up the good work and gook luck with your push to the Mountain Range show on March 11th!

*PLAY OFF tickets are $5 for ALL students - NO STUDENT PASSES can be used for this game.  Adults aged 60yrs and older are $5.  All other adults are $8.  Tickets can be purchased online at Ticket Spicket or with cash at the door.

*Your Warrior Speech & Debate team is having a great season. At the Rebel Invitational last weekend, Simon S. won all of his debates and earned a first-place trophy in Lincoln-Douglas debate!


*Sophomores, Juniors & Seniors: if you're thinking about attending The University of Utah after graduation, come to the Postsecondary Center tomorrow, February 23rd from 9-9:30am to visit with their Admissions Officer. Learn what it takes to get in, how to save money and why you'd love being a Ute!  See Mrs. Conn in room S1401 or your counselor for a pass.

*CONGRATULATIONS to your Centennial League Champion Girls Varsity Basketball  team. They had an exciting win over Grandview on Saturday at Cherry Creek 47-43 to win the Centennial League Championship!  The Girls Varsity also are the 8th seed in the State Tournament and will be hosting Denver East HERE TONIGHT at Arapahoe at 6:00pm. Come out and support this amazing team and  PACK THE HOUSE!

Tickets are $5 for students and 60+, $8 for adults. NO STUDENT PASSES can be used for this game.  Tickets can be purchased online at Ticket Spiket or with cash at the door.

*Come to Arapahoe Vocal Music's 6th Annual Valentine's Cabaret TONIGHT.  The event will  feature the Arapahoe Vocal Music students showcasing their diverse talents.  This is the program’s primary annual fundraising concert.  Tickets can still be purchased at the door for the show.

*Congratulations to your 7th ranked Arapahoe Girls Varsity Basketball team for their semi-final win in the Centennial League tournament last night over 4th ranked Cherokee Trail. The Warriors will play Grandview TOMORROW at 2:30 at Cherry Creek High School to determine the Centennial League Championship.  The Girls JV team will be playing for the League Championship at 11:00am TOMORROW here at home in the Aux gym! Additionally, congratulations to the Warrior Girls C-team that won the League Championship last night over Cherokee Trail. Come out on Saturday and support our Girls Basketball teams! 

*Join us tomorrow as the Varsity Boys Basketball team competes in the final tournament games here at Arapahoe! Game starts at 3:00pm - bring it home Warriors!

*LPS Boys Volleyball Tryouts! The LPS Boys Volleyball team will be holding tryouts on February 20-23rd from 6:00pm - 8:00pm in the Arapahoe High School Gym.  Practices begin on February 27, rotating weekly through all 3 High Schools.  The LPS Boys Volleyball team is an all LPS team so students from any of our High Schools are eligible to try out as long as registration is complete through the AHSWarriors.org site.  An uploaded current physical is required.  Questions - please contact lpsboysvolleyball@gmail.com.

*If you were unable to come to the track meeting yesterday after school it is not too late to join the track team.  Please stop by Coach Lienemanns classroom W-1529 any time today and pick up the informational packet that was distributed at the meeting.  We are a non-cut sport for both boys and girls teams and would like to get as many athletes involved as possible.  Come Join the Arapahoe Track & Field family!

*Hey Warriors! There are 2 great basketball games tonight here at AHS featuring your Girls and Boys Varsity Basketball teams, competing in their Centennial League Tournaments. First, at 5:30pm, your 7th-ranked Girls Varsity takes on 4th-ranked Cherokee Trail. Immediately following the girls game, at 7:00pm, the Boys will be taking on Cherokee trail boys as well.  Come out and bring the NOISE and ENERGY supporting Girls and Boys Basketball tonight!

*Good luck to our 8 state-bound Girls and Boys Warrior Wrestlers who will be competing at the CHSAA State Wrestling Tournament at Ball Arena starting today!

*Anyone interested in being a part of the 2023 Arapahoe Warrior Track and Field team should attend an informational meeting  TODAY at 3:40pm in room W-1529.  The meeting will be brief as we will discuss the upcoming spring season.  If you are unable to attend,  please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of the week.  It’s very important to register ASAP.  An uploaded current physical is required. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family.
