*Seniors!  College Application Boot Camp begins on PLC Wednesday at 8:15 AM in the Forum.  Receive step by step instructions on the processes specific to Arapahoe, guidance on Naviance, including matching accounts and FERPA, the Common App, and Scholarships. RSVP by 8:00 AM on Tuesday.   

*Seniors! Remember to complete the Class of 2020 Biography.  If you have finished the document please click the “update” button to submit it.  

Athletics

*The ABK Fresh/Soph soccer team has had a great start to the season and are currently undefeated with two wins and one tie. They won against Rocky Mountain 9-0 and Heritage 7-0, with a tie against Mountain Vista at 1-1.  Next game is Tuesday, September 3, at Rocky Mountain, at 4:30 pm.

*Your Girls Gymnastics Team had an outstanding Meet last night - taking 2nd place by mere tenths!  Way to Go Warriors!

*Anyone interested in playing baseball for the Warriors, there will be an informational meeting on Thursday September 5th at 7AM 

*The Warrior Varsity Volleyball will be in ACTION today at 4:45 PM versus Fort Collins at the Regis Jam VB Tourney followed by a 6:30 PM match versus either Highlands Ranch or Rock Canyon. They also play tomorrow at 4:45 PM and 6:30 PM. Matches are at the Gold Crown facility. Come out and support your warrior volleyball team! 

*Congrats to the Varsity softball team for their big win against ThunderRidge Grizzlies 8 to 2. The team is currently 7 and 0 and quickly moving up the rankings. Come out to the AHS Softball field tomorrow at 11:00 AM to see the Warriors take on Rampart. Keep it going Ladies!

*It's a whiteout for the football game tonight; however, the $5 T-shirts are sold out. Throw on something white and come out to support your Football Warriors playing Greeley West at 7:00 PM at LPS Stadium.

*Our three Warrior Field Hockey teams lost to Regis last night but JV and C teams take the field again today at Mountain Vista HS at 4:15 PM and 5:15 PM.   

*Be sure to cheer on your Cross Country Warriors as they compete this afternoon in the Warrior Invitational at deKoevend Park.

Athletics

*Warriors Varsity Volleyball wins first match of the season over Douglas County 3-1! Sophomores defeated DC in 3 sets. Freshman and JV had close matches, but fell short. Solid effort by all! Go Warriors! Next Varsity match is this Friday at 4:45 versus Fort Collins. The Varsity tournament continues with a 6:30 PM Friday match and 4:45 and 6:30 matches on Saturday. All matches are at Gold Crown Field House! Come support our Warriors VB Team!

*Hey Warriors, the Varsity softball team picked up another win yesterday. The Lady Warriors beat Regis 12 to 2. The Warriors hit their 10th homerun and are currently 6 and 0. The girls are back in action today at ThunderRidge. Good Luck Ladies! Keep it going!

*Our Warrior Field Hockey teams battle Regis today at Regis HS. Varsity plays at 4:15 PM, JV at 5:30 PM and C team at 6:30 PM. Be there to cheer on your Warriors!  

*TONIGHT is your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team's 1st Meet of the season in Cherry Creek's East Gym. March in at 5:50. Come show your support! GO WARRIORS!

*The Arapahoe Boys Varsity Soccer team plays George Washington High School at 6:30 PM tonight at Littleton Public Schools Stadium. The Arapahoe Junior Varsity plays the George Washington JV team on the Arapahoe south soccer field at 4:30 PM. Come cheer on your Warriors!

*Attention! Your volleyball team will be in ACTION TONIGHT at home versus Douglas County! First match of the season!!!Frosh and Sophomores at 4:00 PM, JV at 5:00 PM and Varsity at 6:30 PM. The team is starting a new tradition for our student section. We are creating THE BALLHEADS! Old volleyballs have been cut out and decorated by the AHS VB TEAM! It will be awesome! First-come, first-served! Managers will be passing these out prior to the VARSITY MATCH! Let’s PACK THE Gym TOMORROW NIGHT! Go Warriors!!!

*The Varsity softball team picked up another win yesterday against Ponderosa. The team also added another homerun to the wall...that’s 9 total homeruns in 5 games. Next up is a home game against Regis on Wednesday. Game time is 4:30. Come out to the softball field and watch some Great softball while cheering on your Lady Warriors

Athletics    

*The Warrior Cross Country team competed Saturday in the first race of the season at the Englewood Windjammer. Both the Girls and Boys Varsity teams placed first! The Boys Open Division also placed first and the Girls Open Division placed second overall! Nice work Warriors!

*Congrats to the Varsity Softball team for defeating Pine Creek by a score of 12-0 on Saturday. Your Lady Warriors hit two more homeruns during the game and are currently leading the state in total homeruns hit, with eight homeruns in four games! The Varsity and JV teams are back in action today at Ponderosa. Our game time at Ponderosa has been changed. All JV and Varsity softball players will be dismissed from class at 1:30 today. Please get changed quickly and head to the bus.Good Luck Ladies!

*Your Varsity Boys Soccer team was victorious against Aurora Central Friday by a score of 3-2. The JV squad won their match against Aurora Central 3-0. Thanks for coming out to watch, and way to go Warriors!

*Parking reminder: On campus student parking is for juniors and seniors only. You must have a parking permit displayed on your windshield and your vehicle must be properly parked in a designated space. Campus supervisors will begin issuing citations for cars without permits or parked illegally.

Athletics

*Warrior Field Hockey teams were victorious last night over Smoky Hill! Varsity won 5-0 and JV 4-0! Thanks to our supportive fan crowd on our new home turf!  

*Congrats to the Varsity softball team for their big win against Horizon yesterday. Great hitting and pitching helped the Warriors defeat Horizon 13 to 3. Your Lady Warriors are currently 3 and 0 this season and are back in action tomorrow morning against Pine Creek. Game time is at 11:00 at the AHS softball field. Come out and cheer on your Lady Warriors!

*Congrats to your varsity Warrior golfers. The team finished 1st in league action again on Wednesday. Three Warriors finished in the top ten. The Warriors finished 4 strokes ahead of Mullen, 12 strokes ahead of Cherry Creek, and now have a healthy 12 stroke lead in league standings with 3 meets to go. The JV team's tournament was limited to 9-holes due to weather but they finished 2nd and are currently 2nd in league standings. Three Warriors finished in the top ten in JV action. The next league competition is Tuesday at Foothills Golf Course.

*The Arapahoe Boys Varsity and JV Soccer teams open their 2019 season today at home against Aurora Central High School. Both games are at 4:30 PM on the soccer fields. Good Luck Warriors!

*The football team is looking for student managers. Please contact Abby Handlovitch or message footballmanagerAHS on instagram if interested. 

*Come out tonight, on your new turf field for the first ever Warrior Football Jamboree. Three teams will join your Warrior team in an evening of football, music, food trucks, games and more. Festivities begin at 5:00 PM with the Freshman and Varsity/JV will play at 6:30 PM.  All students and families are welcome, admittance is free. Join us for this first-ever Friday Night Lights event on the AHS Campus. On that note if you are a driver please listen carefully, those of you who are parked in the west lot today, after lunch please note we will be marking off and blocking the parking spaces between the track and the building. We need to make room for the food trucks to come in! Thank you for your cooperation on this. Tonight is going to be a great event!

*All students MUST have their student ID with them at all times during the school day and at school sponsored events. If you had your photo taken at the two schedule pick-up days and did not receive your student ID please come to the front office to pick it up. If you have not had your photo taken for your student ID, the photographer is at school today until 1:00 PM. Please report to the photographer in the east bubble hallway today during an off period or at lunch to get your required student photo and ID. This is your LAST opportunity to get your student ID for the school year. 

Athletics    

*Your Warrior Golfers started the season off on the right foot. They took first at the Cheyenne Mountain Invitational last Monday with three top ten finishers. Last Thursday they placed first at the Centennial League Meet beating Cherry Creek by 3 strokes with three top ten finishers.  

*JV Golf also placed 1st in the JV League Meet, seven strokes better than Cherry Creek with a first place finisher.  

*Warrior Golfers have their second League Meet this Wednesday at South Suburban. You can catch them in action on the back nine after school.

*Welcome Warriors to the 2019-20 school year! 

*All students MUST have their student ID with them at all times during the school day and at school sponsored events.
