General Announcements

*Hey Warriors!  It’s that time of year again!  The 21st Annual Toy Drive is in full swing.  We have started receiving toys and cash donations.  We will continue to accept toy donations until Wednesday, Dec. 7th and cash donations until December 15th.  This year’s donations will be benefiting Goldrick Elementary.  


*The Miracle Minute and Avalanche of Toys will take place on Thursday, December 8th during Tribe.  Start saving your change, bring your credit card, pull up your Venmo!  Two classes will be awarded prizes - the class that raises the most money AND the class that brings in the most toys!


*Seniors!  Do you have an early January College Application deadline?  The College Application Tracking Form will be due on December 5th by 3:45pm for all schools with an early January application deadline.  See Mrs. Arnold in the main office or Mrs. Conn in Post Secondary if you have questions regarding the tracking form.


*Warriors - our Lost & Found drawers are FULL.  Please come to the main office to see if we have one of your jackets, hoodies, bags or water bottles.


*Attention Warriors - do you enjoy working with kids?  Have you thought about coaching, teaching, being an activity sponsor, or counselor? If you answered yes to either of these questions, please join us at the Future Educator Information meeting on TONIGHT at 6:30pm in the Littleton High School Forum. Learn more about this exciting pathway which will be available to students at the EPIC Campus next school year.  This informational meeting is for students and parents. Go to the EPIC Campus website to RSVP.


*Warriors, there is a free Alive@25 class Monday, December 12th from 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays the $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class.  Some insurance companies give a discount on rates for taking the class.  This is a 4 1/2 hour class.  Sign up online at www.aliveat25.us  and use the password  arapahoe.  Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.

*Warriors, you’re Invited to the upcoming “AHS Boys Swim Team - Meet and Greet” at the Varsity Inn restaurant at 7500 S University Blvd on Tuesday, December 6th from 6:00pm-7:30pm.  The Boys Arapahoe Swim Team Boosters will provide food.  Parents and volunteers are welcome and encouraged to join us for a fun, informative gathering.  Remember, if you want to swim like a warrior, join us at the Varsity Inn on December 6th.  Questions, contact Kim Gayeski

*What's the best song to play while cooking Thanksgiving dinner?.....  "All about that baste" of course.  Grab your "DRUM STICKS" and join the flock to celebrate Thanksgiving with the time honored tradition of Turkey BINGO!  Today, during both lunches.  DJ Miwa will be busting out some numbers and giving away prizes!


*Are you interested in a career in Fire Science, EMT or Criminal Justice? Rock Canyon will be hosting an open house on November 30th from 6-8pm for students interested in these programs for next school year! See your counselor for more info.


*Hey Warriors - are you great at Language Arts, Science, Math or World Studies? We are looking for some student volunteers to help out with our peer study groups.  Please see Mrs. Romero in the Library to sign up.

This will be a great way to get some touches on the ball and meet your future teammates. If you have any questions please contact the ABK Boosters at abkgirlsbooster@gmail.com.

*The Boys and Girls Basketball teams are hosting a Foundation game on Saturday, November 26th at 5:30 pm to benefit Second Wind Fund.  Valor Christian and Arapahoe have teamed up to bring you a great night of basketball.  Entry to the game is by donation. Come out and support your Warriors and raise money for a great cause. 

*Get your Arapahoe Bracelets.  Girls Basketball is selling spirit bracelets to help raise money for their program. Bracelets are $25 for one or $108 for five, so you can get them for the whole family!   Presales are this week and bracelets will be delivered in January.
