Announcements
If you are saying, “I can’t get connected to
wireless” to “I’m not sure how to login to the Science Techbook” to “How do I
do this in Google Drive?”, you need AHS students who would provide informal
technology support to other students!
This tech support will take place in the cafeteria next to the charging
station on Tuesdays, Periods 1, 4 (both lunches) and 6 and Thursdays, Periods 1
and 4 (both lunches).
Sophomores and Juniors, the PLAN and PSAT
results are in the Guidance Office. Please come and pick them up if you haven't
yet!
The staff members of the Arapahoe Herald
newspaper and the Calumet yearbook are planning coverage of the events of December
13 and the progress in the months since. We would like to cover these events in
a dignified and accurate way. A survey has been sent to your school email
giving you the opportunity to share ideas, stories, experiences, lessons
learned or anything else you would like to share with the student body. The
survey will be open through Monday, Feb. 17. Thank you.
The final session of club photos for the
yearbook will take place on Tuesday, February 18th in the AHS theatre after school.
The following clubs will have their group photo taken on February
18th: Ultimate Frisbee, Writing Club, The Tribe/You Matter, Art Club and
Ethnic Foods Club. Thank you!
Attention all National Business Honor Society
Members. Your induction meeting is next Tuesday after
school in Room E9.
Athletics
Good luck
this weekend to the girls swim and dive team at the state meet in Thornton! Go Warriors!
The
Heritage/LPS hockey team's final home game for the regular season is Saturday night
at the Ice Ranch. It will be senior night, and Arapahoe seniors on the
team include: Captain, Josh Mazar; Alternate Captain, Chad Curd; and
Afton Phelps. Come out and cheer on the team as they take on Coronado
High School. Puck drops at 8:20!
Anyone
interested in being a part of the 2014 Arapahoe track and field team needs to
get on line and register at ahstrack.com. You also need to see Mr. Serniak in the PE office and get the
information for this year's Blue Monday Olympics
pre-season track camp. The camp is designed for athletes to experience
track and field the Arapahoe Warrior way. Come out and be a part of the
tradition that is Arapahoe track and field. If you have any questions
please see coach Lienemann in Room S14.
All boys who are interested in swimming or diving for Arapahoe this year
should go online to ahsboysswimdive.com and register for the team.
"Pink
Cards" for spring sports will be distributed in the cafeteria from 7:00 a.m. - 7:15 a.m and then again from 2:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. Tuesday,
February 18th thru Friday, February 21st.
You must have a "pink card" before you can participate in
practice beginning Monday, February 24th.
