 General Announcements

*The 2026 Calumet Yearbooks are here! Come pick up your yearbook in the cafeteria after school on Tuesday and Wednesday until 4:30pm. You will need a form of ID, and make sure all fees are paid! Didn't preorder a yearbook? We will be selling a select few on a first-come, first-served basis for $80, cash or check. See you tomorrow!  

*Please come check the Lost & Found table in the cafeteria to see if any of your items are there.  We will keep the table up until the end of finals.  Items will then be donated.  

*Hey Seniors - just a quick reminder - Check your email and complete the Google Form to record how to pronounce your name for graduation. Please use a computer (NOT YOUR PHONE), follow the directions on the form, due by May 15, 2026.  Need help? Stop by Student Services.

Athletics

*Congratulations to your Boys Swimming and Diving team on their 5th place team finish at the CHSAA 5A Swimming and Diving Championships over the weekend. That is an amazing 14 place improvement over last season. The 200 Free Relay team of JJ Baber, Tyler Ohlgren, Henry Scott, and Brody Wiesner broke the Arapahoe school record. Head Coach Eric Eikenbary was awarded the CHSAA 5A Boys Swimming Coach of the Year honors. What an amazing season for our Warriors!

*Congratulations to our LPS Boys Volleyball team for taking 4th at the 5A CHSAA Boys Volleyball State Championships. 

*If you are interested in playing Field Hockey for the Fall 2026 season, please join us for an Interest meeting on Monday, May 18th at 5:00 pm in the Forum. We will be discussing summer opportunities, tryouts and next year's season. We encourage anyone interested in playing the sport for the first time to attend as well! If you have any questions, please see Mrs. DeMello in the counseling office. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you there!

 General Announcements

*Warriors - it’s Teacher Appreciation Week.  Make sure to thank those teachers who have made a difference for you here at Arapahoe.  

*We wrapped up Capstone Finals last night! Congratulations to our Top 6 finalist teams for the incredible impact they made this semester: Warriors for Warriors, Love that Sparks, Fresh Start, Chance for Children’s, HOP for Miracles, and Power Beyond Speech.  The 2026 Capstone Winner: Power Beyond Speech — McKinley Cain, Marshall Foster, Marleigh Nelson, Gabe Nix, and Jayden Tackitt — for raising funds to provide a communication device for a preschool student at The Village and supporting her communication growth throughout the semester.  Congratulations to all of our teams for your compassion, service, money raised, hours served and love given to people in our community!

*Hey Juniors and Seniors - Prom and After Prom are this Saturday, May 9th.  Tickets for both events will be on sale during both lunches TODAY in the Cafeteria.  Guest forms must be turned in before attending Prom.  

*Warriors it’s time to start getting ready for the 2026-27 school year.  Freshman, Sophomore, and Juniors, we need you to VOTE for next year’s Student Council Executive Positions. Look for the QR code around school to watch the campaign videos and make your voice heard by VOTING for the STUCO Executive Officers.

Seniors- The Class of 2026 Senior Exit Survey is in your inbox and on the Post Secondary Center website!  If you know your plan for the fall, don't delay!  It must be completed in order to pick up your cap and gown on May 15th!

*GOOD LUCK to our 21 Warrior Swimmers headed to the CHSAA Boys 5A State Swimming & Diving Championships TODAY & TOMORROW.  Swim fast fellas, and remember that nothing great is ever achieved without enthusiasm!

*Congratulations to our LPS Boys Volleyball team as they defeated the Legacy Lightening Bolts in the 1st round of the 5A CHSAA Boys Volleyball State Championships.   They will play the Grandview Wolves TODAY @ 2:15pm.

*Good luck to our Boys Varsity Baseball team TODAY as they take on the Eaglecrest Raptors at Eaglecrest HS at 4:15pm.

*Come cheer on our Arapahoe Boys Lacrosse team TOMORROW as they officially start their playoff run!  We need you at Centennial Stadium at 11:00am to get loud as our Warriors take on the Lakewood Tigers. See you there!

*Good luck to our  Warrior Track & Field athletes TOMORROW  at the Finals of the Centennial League Championships at Littleton Stadium starting at 8:00am.  

*Good luck to our Girls Lacrosse team TOMORROW in the 2nd round of 5A CHSAA Girls Lacrosse State Championships as they take on Regis at Lou Kellogg Stadium at 10:00am.

*Congratulations to the 2026 Boys Swimming & Diving Centennial League Champions... YOUR ARAPAHOE WARRIORS!! The Warriors shocked the league and moved up from 5th place in 2025 to win it all this year! AHS Head Coach Eric Eikenbary was named ‘Coach of the Year’ for the league. The team qualified an unbelievable 21 athletes to the next weekend's CHSAA 5A State Championships.  Good luck guys!

*CONGRATULATIONS to our LPS Boys Volleyball team.  They are Region 2 Champions!  Next, on to State.

*The Arapahoe Boys Varsity Lacrosse team will be honoring their Seniors TONIGHT at their senior night game. Come help us celebrate and honor those graduating.  Come cheer them on to victory against Mountain Vista, their final matchup of the regular season! Faceoff starts @ 7:00pm Littleton Stadium See you there!  JV will play at 4:30pm at Powell MS.

*Good luck to our Girls Lacrosse team TONIGHT against Eaglecrest.  Varsity will play at 6:00pm at Legacy Stadium.  JV will play at 4:30pm at Eaglecrest HS.

*Come out and support your Warriors Boys Swimming and Diving team this weekend starting TONIGHT as they host the Centennial ‘A’ League Swimming and Diving Championships here at Arapahoe. Swimming prelims begin at 5:30pm.  Diving will be held Saturday morning at 9:00am, and swimming finals will start Saturday at 2:00pm.  Good luck boys, you got this!

*Come cheer on our Boys LPS Volleyball team TOMORROW @ HOME at Regional competition. The boys will play Boulder at 9:00am and Denver East @ 1:00pm.  

*Good luck to our Girls Soccer teams TOMORROW against Thomas Jefferson.  Varsity will play at noon at TJ High School and C team will play 10:00am.

*Good luck to our Boys Baseball teams TOMORROW against Cherry Creek.  Varsity will play at 11:00am and JV will play at 2:00pm.  Both games are at Cherry Creek HS.  Sophomore team will play at 11:00am and Freshman team will play at 1:30pm here at HOME!
