Good morning warriors! As you probably know, The Muse has
been publishing and celebrating Arapahoe's creative student artists and writers
for over a decade. This year, however, for the first time in eleven
years, I am sad to report that we currently don't have enough student writing
to create a magazine. Never in the history of the magazine have we been
in this situation. But we are not giving up, and hope you won't either.
We are extending our deadline for writing to the very end of the
semester, and we will be looking for your stories, essays and poems--we are
especially short on poetry this year. You don't have to think of yourself
as a "writer" to submit something; I have seen great college essays,
personal memoirs, and heartfelt poetry from all kinds of students, of all ages.
The Muse strives to represent
everyone in the school, but we can't do it if you don't send us your work.
Stop by the library desk this week to take a look at the Muse magazines we've published in years
past, and you’ll see it’s something special, and you can be a part of it.
There are over 2,000 of you, and each of you has a story to tell.
Submit your work before the semester ends, and let's keep this tradition
thriving.
Thank you to all who helped wrap the toys for
Colfax Elementary yesterday. You beautifully wrapped 450 toys in just 45
minutes. Thank you Warriors!
TSA club will meet
again this Wednesday after
school in Room E7. This will be "Competitive Event" rules meeting as
we will go over and print out all your State Competitive Events Rules.
Hope to see you. Our final TSA meeting of the semester will be next
Monday, Dec 17. State TSA conference money and paperwork is due then!!!!
The library will close at 2:00 tomorrow,
Tuesday, for a staff meeting. Students should plan ahead. We apologize for the
inconvenience.

20 minutes. Thanks.
Do you have a hidden talent you would like to present to your
fellow Warriors? Mr. Sisler is the Master of Ceremonies for all home
basketball game half-time performances. If interested in being a part of
any of these events, please see Mr. Sisler in the Athletic Office. It's a
Great Day to be a Warrior!
