The toy
delivery to Colfax Elementary will be Wednesday Dec. 19 right after final
exams. If you turned in a signed permission slip to go on the bus, please
meet in the circle drive between 12 and 12:15 in your festive attire
Students
please be aware that during the four days of finals the library will be a QUIET
STUDY AREA only. If you do need to have group discussions for an
assignment please do it in the cafeteria. Thanks for your cooperation and Happy
Holidays.
Warriors, during finals week, Tuesday through Friday, the Cafe
will be open from 7 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. Please plan ahead. To those Warriors who have been extended
"mercy charges" please pay off your negative balances as soon as
possible, you may not be able to charge any more against your account until
they are cleared. Don't forget to stop
by the Cafe in the morning for an energy boost...you want to be at your best
for those finals!!
Athletics
Congratulations to the Warrior Wrestling Team. The Varsity
remains undefeated in league after defeating Cherokee Trail last night 39-24!
Come out next week and support the wrestlers as they take on Heritage and
Cherry Creek Wednesday and Thursday next week!
Congratulations to the JV and Freshman/Sophomore Wrestling teams as they
both defeated Cherokee Trail last night.
Don't miss the Heritage Hockey varsity game
this Saturday night, Dec. 15, at South Suburban Ice Arena at 8:30 p.m. This is
the team for all LPS hockey players, so please come support the team.
Calling
all girl tennis players! Any girls
wanting to try out for the tennis team this spring must
attend a meeting on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 6:30 in the AHS Forum. Check the tennis website at

Hey all Certified Lifeguards!! Are you
interested in Lifeguarding during the school day for credit? Lifeguarding swim
classes at Arapahoe. Come to a meeting on Tuesday, Dec 18th right after finals
at 12:15 in the Forum. Bring your 2nd semester schedule. Most questions will be
answered then. See Mrs. Leyden if you cannot attend.
