*Today's mindful moment is focusing on an act of kindness. Think about your day or this past weekend and someone's act of kindness. Think about how you could pay-it-forward tomorrow or this week. During Warrior Week we can be mindful by paying kindness onto others.

*The March Madness Tournament of B O O K S has started in the library running throughout March. Be a part of March Madness! Take the survey found in your LPS email each week through April 3rd. You may also check out a title from March Madness Tournament of BOOKS in the Library.

*Hey Senior boys! Think you’ve got what it takes to be the 2019 Mr. Arapahoe?  Don’t miss out on a chance to win FREE prom tickets and a tux for prom night. Applications are due March 22nd!  They are available in the math office. We’re excited to see who will be competing for Mr. Arapahoe!

*Hey Warriors! Today is the start of Warrior week, and it’s great to see everyone’s spirit! Tonight is the CU Buffoons concert at 7pm. This is a popular A Cappella Men’s Singing group. Make sure to buy your tickets before the performance! Tickets are $5.00.  Or purchase a BUNDLE for all the events plus a t-shirt for $20.00. Everyone who buys a ticket gets a chance to win a pair of Air Pods.

Tomorrow’s dress up day is Triplet Day, because Tony is a triplet. Show your spirit with your peeps and support Tony’s wish.

Tonights Dish for Wish is at Chipotle. Race on over to Eat at Chipotle tonight from 4:00 - 8:00pm and they will be giving back 33% of the proceeds to Make A Wish Colorado.

*Art Attack is back! Our annual Spring art show is coming up soon, and we need your artwork! If you have something you would like to be displayed in Art Attack, please bring it to the art department by Friday, March 22. There will be awards and prizes for the most outstanding artwork, so be sure to submit yours for consideration! See any art teacher with questions

*Student Council is looking for MINI Coopers to showcase the night of our Warrior Week Carnival, Friday, March 15th! We would love to hear from you if you or someone you know owns a MINI Cooper and would like to have it showcased to support Tony’s wish to go to the MINI factory in Oxford, UK! Please contact sophomore Student Council Officer Matthew Becker  or speak to Mrs. Abner in the PE office for more information.

*Still interested in competing in the FBLA Volleyball Tournament on April 3rd? There are still some FBLA Volleyball Tournament packets available in the business department.  Stop by and pick up a packet. Find 8 to 10 friends to come compete with you! If you have already picked up a packet, be sure to turn them into the Business Department as soon as possible!  Packets will be turned in quickly.

*Free Alive @ 25 class Tuesday March 19th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions ask Deputy Englert

*Congratulations to Senior Divers Franny Cable and Kirry Belitz for being named to first team All State!  Freshman Morgan Hampton was named to second team All State. Way to go warriors!

*Congratulations to the Warrior Girls Lacrosse Team and their Saturday night victory against Heritage/Littleton to once again bring home the Three Sisters Trophy!

*Are you interested in trying out for the 2019-2020 Arapahoe Cheerleading team? Come to the Mandatory Parent and Athlete meeting on TODAY at 7:15 pm in the AHS Forum to get information on Tryouts! Bring your calendar and something to write with! See you there!"

*The Varsity Girls Soccer Team started their season off strong as they won their first 2 games of the season!!!  On Thursday, they beat ThunderRidge 3-0. Goals were scored by Lauren Walter assisted by Reagan Bridges, Skylar Golden assisted by Kylie Smith and Audrey Weiss assisted by Emma Purcell.  Then on Saturday they defeated Mountain Vista 1-0!!! Arapahoe's goal was scored by Audrey Weiss assisted by Saige Elison. Thank you for coming out to support your Lady Warriors at both games!  Next up, ABK takes on Douglas County High School on Wednesday at 7pm at LPSS as the Warrior Invitational begins! Come on out and cheer them on!

*JV girls soccer had 2 victories in their opening games.  They beat Thunder Ridge 2-1, and Mountain Vista 1-0 with goals by Avery Ott, Lindsey Rundell and Rylea Baird. Come support them at their next game on Wednesday at 4:30 at Arapahoe.  Go ABK!

*Congratulations to the Fresh/Soph ABK Lady Warriors, as they started their season off with a 1-0 victory over Mountain Vista this past Saturday! Tatum O'Shea scored for AHS with an assist from Camdyn Hall. The Lady Warriors will travel to Rock Canyon High School, Tuesday March 12th at 4:30. Come on down to cheer them on!

*Come cheer on your Arapahoe Warriors Varsity Baseball team today at 4 pm. The snack shack will be open with hot dogs and hamburgers grilled fresh at every home game. Today the Varsity team takes on Thunder Ridge on our home field. Don’t miss it!

*The Garlic Knot Restaurant is hosting a pizza bar night on Tuesday from 5:00 to 8:30 to help raise money for our Arapahoe Baseball organization. It is all the pizza and soda you can eat and drink for $10 and 50% of all proceeds comes back to our baseball program. The address is 1621 W. Canal Circle, Littleton in the Westview Shopping Center off Mineral. You will love the pizza and we would love to see your face and would greatly appreciate your support.
