 General Announcements

*Arapahoe is having our 2020 food drive! Donate now through November 13. You can find collection boxes by the security kiosks and in the cafeteria.  

 

*The winners of the first annual Warrior Media Scary Story contest have been selected! First place goes to Collier Dyer, second goes to Nic Highsmith and the third place winner is Alli Zier. Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone who entered a story! Also, many thanks to our judges Mr. Kuhlman, Ms. Wheeler and Kristin Avery! Stay tuned for more short story contests!

 

*For the last few weeks the Thespians have been turning A Midsummer Night's Dream into a film! Please join them for a live stream of the production on November 6th and November 7th at 7:00 pm. *Check out the amazing talents of your fellow Warriors! The Arapahoe Art Department would like to invite you to view this year's virtual 2020 AHS Fall Art Show which includes over 330 works of art (you can also find the link on the Arapahoe website)! We hope you enjoy the show!

 

*Seniors!  If you have submitted college applications, be sure to check your email for instructions from your colleges to set up portals or application status pages. And then...check those regularly!  

 

*Seniors!  The CU Boulder rep contacted AHS to advise that 57 applications submitted on Free Application Day remain incomplete - check your CU application status page TODAY to address missing items prior to the November 15th early action deadline.

 

*Sophomores!  If you have not yet signed up for a one-on-one Naviance appointment, go to the sophomore page of the Post Grad website to sign up.  Appointment slots will be offered during the month of November and the first week in December only.

 

 

*If you have checked out a daily laptop or Lenovo power cord from the Library, remember to return them at the end of each school day! The items will be cleaned and the laptops recharged and available to check out the next day. Thank you!

 

*We hope you are enjoying the beautiful fall weather this week! Please continue  to wear your masks, do your daily health self-screenings, practice social distancing, wash your hands often and remember to record your attendance on all virtual days.

*Hey Warriors! Plan to pick up Chick-Fil-A at the Streets of Southglenn location next week Tuesday night and mention the AHS Boys and Girls Swim and Dive Team! 15% of sales from 5:00-7:00 PM will go to support our AHS Boys and Girls Swim and Dive Team!
