General Announcements


*Attention students who are interested in dance, choreography, spinning flags, teamwork, and performing as part of a state champion caliber performance ensemble.  The Arapahoe Winter Guard is holding a virtual kickoff meeting for the 2021 season on Friday night (January 29) at 7:00 PM.  The Google Meet link is https://meet.google.com/dgz-qmjc-msa and the meeting will be hosted by our Head Color Guard Coach, Jodee Whitehead.  For more information, please contact Coach Whitehead (jwhitehead@arapahoeband.com) or the Director of Instrumental Music, Mr. Funk (sfunk@lps.k12.co.us).  We hope that you can join us for an amazing season!!!

 

*Hybrid learning model information: 2020-2021 Spring Semester Hybrid Day Rotation and the Hybrid Bell Schedule.

 

*Attention Sophomore Drivers! Limited second semester parking permits are available to licensed sophomore drivers. Priority will be given to those sophomores who purchased a parking permit for the first semester and the rest will be released on a first-come, first-served basis for $25.

 

To apply for a parking permit for the second semester, please go to this link to register your vehicle. You must complete the form again even if you had a permit first semester. After completing the google form, submit payment of $25 to the Bookkeeper (in person with cash or check). Then you may obtain your permit from a Campus Supervisor at the East or West Kiosks. *CALLING ALL AHS SNOWBOARDERS AND SKIERS!!  We want to showcase your talents on the mountain. Email Mrs. Abner your gnarly videos or photos by February 28th. Film or photo your talents in horizontal format, no more than 2 minutes.  Kabner@lps.k12.co.us

 

*Warriors! Please remember to wear your AHS ID and lanyard at all times, perform your daily health screening, wear a mask, wash your hands often, socially distance and follow the directional arrows during passing periods.


Athletics

 

*ARAPAHOE BASEBALL FUNDRAISER:  Please join the Arapahoe Baseball teams today, January 27 ALL DAY (lunch & dinner) to raise money for our baseball programs at Buffalo Wild Wings, 980 Sergeant Jon Stiles Drive, Highlands Ranch, 80129, 303-471-5492. Please tell a team member at checkout you are with the AHS Baseball fundraiser or show them the ticket (below) and baseball will receive a percentage back on all food and beverages purchased for dine in, take out or pick up web orders at buffalowildwings.com.  Deliveries don't qualify.  Thank you for your support.

*Attention! All girls interested in playing high school volleyball this Spring who have not signed up yet and are not connected via our WhatsApp communication app please contact head coach Larry Deffenbaugh at ldeffenbaugh@lps.k12.co.us. Check the AHS Volleyball website for the most current information concerning the upcoming season beginning March 1st.
