*Arapahoe Band Boosters invites you to eat at Noodles at Southglenn TONIGHT, January 13th from 4:00-8:00 PM. The band receives 25% of the proceeds for the night. Guests must mention the organization or show the attached flyer when ordering. If ordering online, please enter code GIVING25 at checkout. Not valid for delivery.
*Important January Dates:
The first three weeks in January are all different due to holidays and teacher planning days so please refer to the course and bell schedules for each week in January in this link. It also contains the AHS Distance Learning Plan for students and parents.
Monday, January 18, 2021 -Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday -No School
Friday, January 22, 2021 – Non-student day for high school students. This is a planning day for the teachers to return to the hybrid learning model.
Monday, January 25, 2021 – High school students return to school in the hybrid model of in-person learning. We will follow the same hybrid group A and group B cohorts, as well as the same bell schedule we followed in the fall.
*LPS will return to in-person learning in January using a phased approach. Each phase is dependent upon the community’s ability to control spread of the COVID virus so that enough LPS staff members are healthy, free from quarantines, and therefore available to go to work in schools every day. Athletics
*AHS Girls Swim and Dive will officially start the season on January 18. If you have not already registered, you have until the 18th to join the team! Please visit AHSSwimDive.com for more information. If you have questions, please contact the booster club at arapahoeswimdive1@gmail.com.
*Arapahoe Girls Basketball- Any and All girls wanting to play Basketball this coming season should plan to attend Preseason Camp beginning Tuesday, January 5th 3:50 PM to 5:50 PM in the main Gym here at AHS. Camp workouts will continue every week day at this same time thru Friday, January 15th. Official practices "by teams" begins January 18th. Games will begin the week of January 25th. Due to the compressed time schedule attendance at Preseason Camp is even more important than in previous years!!! If you have any questions please email Coach Jerry Knafelc at jknafelc@q.com.

*Attention! All girls interested in playing high school volleyball this Spring who have not signed up yet and are not connected via our WhatsApp communication app please contact head coach Larry Deffenbaugh at ldeffenbaugh@lps.k12.co.us. Check the AHS Volleyball website for the most current information concerning the upcoming season beginning March 1st.
