General Announcements


*Testing Week Bell Schedule Due to student testing this week April 12-16, please follow the special schedules for each day. Lunch on Monday and Friday is determined by your 5th period class. 

 

*Spring 2021 In-Person Daily Bell Schedule

 

*Attention all students interested in joining the Student Council: We want YOU! We invite all students to apply to be an ambassador in the student council. Attend an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 13 at 3:40 p.m. in the Forum or email Mrs. Abner if you are interested in joining our leadership team.

 

*Come help the homeless by supporting your fellow warriors in their Big Idea Project! Enjoy some dinner at Corner Bakery at Southglenn on the night of April 15th. 20% of the proceeds will go towards purchasing new clothes and blankets for the homeless. Thanks for your support!

 

*The 17th Annual Arapahoe Art Attack is finally here!  The virtual show can now be viewed on the AHS website.  This year's show has over 600 pieces of student work so be sure to check it out!  

 

*The Library is hosting SAT and PSAT Testing this week and will be closed during testing. The Library will reopen at approximately 1:45 p.m. Please plan to do your assignment printing and check out a daily Chromebook or Power cord BEFORE the start of school.

 

*Attention Students who have a District Chromebook checked out:   If you no longer need the Chromebook, please return the device and the power cord to the Library.  If your Chromebook is damaged, please bring it to the Library for repair.

 

*Attention all Sophomores and Juniors: If you are interested in joining Link Crew for the 2021-2022 school year, please fill out an application that can be found on the Link Crew webpage. Go to the AHS website and click Explore and Activities under the Participate section. Find Link Crew and you will see the application at the top of the website. Applications are due by Friday, April 23rd.

 

*Seniors!  Would you like help applying to college?  It's not too late!  12 colleges, community colleges, and trade schools will take part in a virtual Application Day on Wednesday, April 21 during PLC time through 1st hour.  At this event, you will hear about different programs, be able to apply for free, and with support from start to finish.  See your counselor or Post Grad to sign up for this event!


*Need some Flower Power?  Get some stunning flower bulbs, seeds and garden supplies and support our Arapahoe Band!  Go to  http://Warriors2020.fpfundraising.com and order by April 15! 

 

*Free in-person Alive @ 25 class is Wednesday May 12 at 3:45 - 8:15 p.m. in the Forum. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and many insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.aliveat25.us. To register for the class the registration code is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.

 

*Warriors! Remember your daily checklist: your mask, your student ID, washing your hands frequently and following the directional arrows in the hallways.

*Boys Swim and Dive Team registration is now open!

  • Deadline to order gear: 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 16

  • Season starts: Monday, April 26

*AHS Softball invites you to a Spirit Night Fundraiser at Chick-Fil-A Southglenn Tuesday, April 13 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Mention AHS Softball when you order and 15% of your purchase will go to AHS Softball.
