General Announcements


*Spring 2021 In-Person Daily Bell Schedule

 

*Congratulations to all students that competed in the FBLA State Conference!  A special congratulations to Noah Burge, Jake Boase, Pria Zaveri, Leah Grier and Jane Griffin for taking 1st Place in their Competitive Events.  All FBLA state competitors who placed in the top 4 or are bumped up will have an opportunity to compete at FBLA Nationals.  

 

*Attention FBLA members: Thursday is the last day to earn lettering points! Join us for our FBLA Give Back Day to help some amazing causes! Earn 10 lettering points and community service hours! See you in rooms S1407 and S1409!

 

*ATTENTION SENIOR CLASS OF 2021!

Get ready to put on your best smile for your AHS Senior Class Picture! On Monday, April 26th, seniors will be dismissed from their first period class to attend their senior graduation meeting and class photo. Seniors will be split into their alpha cohorts for the meeting and photo as all students cannot be in the gym at the same time.

  • L-Z 9:25 - 10:15

More detailed information can be found in the email sent from Ms. Boatright’s office. Please be sure to attend and be on time this coming Monday. We don’t want anyone to miss this one-time opportunity to capture the Class of 2021!!

 

*Ms. Roebuck, AHS English teacher, is a finalist for the 2021 Schomp Teacher of the Year! Vote now to help her win a car and $5,000 for a cause of her choice! Voting ends April 30th, so spread the word!

*Warriors: Please return your daily checked-out Library laptops either after school or the next morning BEFORE school starts. Thank you for bringing these back on time!

 

*Free in-person Alive @ 25 class is Wednesday May 12 at 3:45 - 8:15 p.m. in the Forum. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee.  If you are 15 1/2 you can get a driver's permit after taking the class and many insurance companies will give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us. To register for the class the registration code is "arapahoe". Any questions, ask Deputy Englert.

 

*Parents, Community Members, Alumni and Staff: The Littleton Public Schools Foundation Invites you to their annual Spirit Celebration which is their biggest and most important event of the year to celebrate all the kids we serve. Register for an evening of fun and celebration.

Athletics

 

*Senior Boys: Are you interested in doing guy cheers? Please complete the interest form that was sent to you in your school email and is linked in the 12th grade ICAP Google Classroom or click here to complete the form. We will be selecting 40 guys for the team. 

 

*Congratulations to the gymnastics team placing 3rd at Regionals on April 15.  Mariah Schmeling, Carly Backer, and Hope Jones from Arapahoe all placed in the top 10. Tryouts for next season will be announced soon. 

 

*Boys lacrosse players: tryouts start on Monday, 4/26. Please register on the Arapahoe sports website. We are excited for the spring season!! Contact Coach Bobzien with any questions. His email is on the boys lacrosse home page.

 

*Any athlete interested in being a part of the Arapahoe Track and Field family needs to attend a brief meeting after school this Thursday, 4/22 in room W1529 for information on the upcoming season.

 

*Girls interested in playing soccer this spring: there will be a quick informational meeting on the varsity soccer field this Friday at 3:45 p.m. Please make sure you have completed your registration. Tryouts begin Monday 4/26.

 

*2021 AHS Girls Lacrosse registration is now open! Pre-season practices are already underway on Mondays and Wednesdays at the Arapahoe grass fields 5:00-7:00 p.m. Tryouts start Monday, April 26, 2021 at the AHS turf field 6:00-8:00 p.m. You need to register with BOTH the AHS Athletic Department and the AHS Girls Lacrosse Booster Club in order to attend tryouts. Go to the Girls Lacrosse webpage at AHSWarriors.org for registration information.

 

*Attention Baseball Players: Official tryouts begin April 26th after school at 3:50 p.m. You must be registered through the Athletic Website in order to try out.  See Coach Dollaghan if you have any questions.

 

*AHS Cheerleading tryout registration is now open! If you are interested in trying out for cheerleading this year fill out the tryout interest form on the cheerleading website at AHSWarriors.org or linked in the bio of AHS cheers instagram page @arapahoe_cheerleading. Tryouts will be held May 25-28th. 

 

*Boys Swim and Dive Team registration deadline is this Friday, April 23rd! 

  • Go to AHSSwimDive.com for more information and the link to Register!

  • Join us at the pool from Monday-Thursday this week from 3:45-5:15 for the last week of pre-season

  • Season begins next Monday, April 26th

 

*AHS Boys Swim and Dive Team Fundraiser: Fan and Business Card Cutouts in time for Athletic Season D (and Summer activities)

  • Now through May 10th, order your Fan and/or Business Card Cutouts by going to AHSSwimDive.com, read the Info/FAQs, then click on the link and complete the Order Form.

  • Join Mrs. Pramenko and Mr. McCabe to cheer on the AHS Boys Swim and Dive Team this season!

  • Fan and Business Card Cutouts are perfect for any AHS sporting event or summer activity when you cannot be there in person or need to be in two places at once!
