General Announcements
*Calling all clubs, sports, and departments! We need your help in creating exciting booths for our Wish Week Carnival. In the past, booths have consisted of face painting, obstacle courses, snow cones, and other fun community events. Be creative, and think outside the box. This amazing fundraiser is on Thursday, March 21st, from 5:00pm-8:30pm. All teacher, coaches and sponsors have been emailed a sign up sheet. Don’t miss your chance to help our incredible wish kid, Alyson!
*Hey Warriors! Are you a member of the National Honor Society or Key Club and looking for volunteer opportunities? Come participate in Break Bread this Saturday, March 9th at 3:30pm to help serve food and our community at Littleton United Methodist Church. Contact Parker Lollini or Ms Price for more information. Also, NHS members: Please check Google Classroom for information on new service opportunities.
*ATTENTION all Senior boys, the Mr. Arapahoe contest is quickly approaching on Monday, April 29th. Do you have what it takes to be the next Mr. Arapahoe? The deadline for submitting an application is Friday, March 8th and we want YOU to sign up to show your school spirit. Look for the QR code on signs throughout the school.
*Warriors there will be a FREE ‘Alive @ 25’ class Monday, March 11th at 3:45pm - 8:15pm in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class, the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 ½, you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot of insurance companies give you a discount after taking the class. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up on-line at www.alive@25.us. To register for the class the password is "arapahoe". Any questions ask Deputy Englert.
*Warriors - the Be Happy Boutique is coming back to Streets of SouthGlenn! This is an opportunity to get formal wear (dresses & suits) for all of your formal events — from prom to homecoming and everything in between at a price you can afford. Mark your calendar to visit their ONCE A YEAR shop on the first two weekends of March! Be sure to plan ahead! They are located at Streets of Southglenn - across the street from H&M. They follow a pay what you can model. So whether someone can offer $0, $20, or more, all are welcome.
Athletics
*Good luck to our LPS Boys Volleyball teams TOMORROW as they take on Discovery Canyon @ Discovery Canyon HS. Varsity starts at 6:00pm after JV at 5:00pm. C Level is at 4:00pm.
*The Boys Varsity Lacrosse starts their season TOMORROW night with their Annual Foundation Game against Legend at 7:00pm at HOME on the turf field. This is a great night that helps bring awareness to mental health alongside BTR. Please come out to watch some amazing lacrosse and support a great cause!
