*Do you love cookies, competition, and making new friends? Join FBLA in the forum after school on Thursday, September 10th for our annual membership drive, and cookie extravaganza. Come and enjoy some of your favorite cookies and find out what FBLA is all about. The Future Business Leaders of America club is open to all students.
*Hey Juniors and Seniors- TODAY visit with the reps from South Dakota School of Mines, Elon and Seattle University. Look for Georgia, Tennessee, CSU, Delaware, Alabama and Willamette University later in the week. Sign up in Scoir (SCORE)
*Warriors - before you know it, it will be Homecoming Week. Now’s the time to get your Kickball teams together for the Kickball Tournament on Wednesday, September 16th. Teams need to be 9-12 players plus a staff coach. Team spots are limited so come get your sign up forms in the Activities Office, Sign up by Friday, September 11th. Get ready to have some fun.
*It’s time to SADDLE UP for Homecoming! Our Homecoming Parade is happening September 19th, and this year we’re going WILD WEST! We want to see our clubs and sports teams bring their best Wild West spirit to the parade! Sign up your club or team to participate by September 11th. Let’s make this the biggest, most WILD Homecoming Parade yet!
*Attention Warrior Wrestlers, if you are interested in being part of the Homecoming Float, please attend our meeting after school TOMORROW in room S1427.
*Hey Wild Warrior Women! We're decorating for Homecoming after school this Friday, September 11 @ 3:35pm. Be there with black and gold decorations to show off our school spirit for this year's Homecoming!
*Warriors, if you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 19th please stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a Guest Pass Approval Form. This Approval Form is due by Thursday, September 17th at 3:00pm.
Athletics
*This past Saturday, the Arapahoe Cross Country team competed at the Liberty Bell Invite. We want to congratulate Dylan Escorcia, who set a new Arapahoe Cross Country 5k record of 15:05.82 and led the boys to a 9th place finish overall. Maeve Vancik came in 9th and helped the girls team place 4th overall. Congratulations to all of our cross country athletes who represented Arapahoe and good luck this Friday at the Arapahoe Warrior Invite! Please see the email from Coach Hatak If you would like to help the team host this amazing race!
*Good luck to our Boys Tennis teams against Eaglecrest TODAY. Go Warriors!
*Come pack the stands and get loud for our Girls Volleyball teams TODAY @ HOME against Chatfield. Varsity will play at 6:30pm in the main gym after JV plays at 5:00pm. Sophomore team will play at 4:30pm followed by Freshman team plays at 5:30pm in the Aux gym.
*Good luck to our Boys Varsity Golf team TODAY against Grandview at Murphy Creek Golf Course.
*Come cheer on you Boys Soccer teams TODAY @ Littleton Stadium as they take on Rock Canyon. Varsity will play at 7:00pm after JV plays at 5:30pm. C team will play at 4:30pm at Rock Canyon HS. D team will play Heritage @ Heritage HS at 4:30pm.
