 General Announcements

*Seniors! Are you the outdoorsy-type with volunteer hours to prove it, and a plan to pursue a degree with an emphasis on climate, natural resources, or the environment? Check out the Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado Grossman Scholarship worth up to $10,000! Deadline to apply is February 2nd. See your counselor, or stop by the Post-Secondary Center in room S1401 for more details.


*Warriors - all of our swim classes are seeking a certified lifeguard for this 3rd quarter. The classes we need a lifeguard for include periods 1,2,5,7.  You can get PE credit by serving as a lifeguard.   Please see or email Mrs. Abner if you are interested.  


*Reminder that SAGA club is back! SAGA stands for sexuality and gender alliance club and we welcome anyone that wants to join! We will meet on Monday in the Zen Den in the Counseling office from 3:45 - 4:30 pm. Meet us there!

*Good Luck to our Warrior Varsity Wrestlers TONIGHT at Eaglecrest!


*Hey Arapahoe! Come catch your boys basketball teams in action at HOME TONIGHT! All levels will take on Castle View starting with sophomores at 4:00pm in the auxiliary gym and ending with a 7:00pm tip off for your Varsity Boys! They are coming off a home win from Wednesday night where they defeated the Palmer Terrors to win the Consolation Bracket of the 2025 Titan-Raptor Classic Tournament. All levels also play at HOME again TOMORROW night against Highlands Ranch. Again, the varsity team tips off at 7:00pm. Let's go Warriors!


*Come cheer on your Girls Basketball teams TOMORROW at HOME against Thunder Ridge.  C Level plays @ 11:30am, followed by JV @ 1:00pm.  Varsity will play @ 2:30pm in the main gym.


*Congratulations to the Girls Swimming and Diving team on their dominating win against Overland last night.  The girls are back in action TOMORROW at HOME, to complete a week with three meets! Good luck girls!

*Come out and cheer on your Boys & Girls Basketball teams TONIGHT at HOME.  Girls JV will play Mountain Vista @ 4:00 in the main gym followed by Girls Varsity  @ 5:30pm against Mountain Vista.  Boys Varsity will be at 7:00pm against Palmer.  Boys JV will be in the Aux gym @ 5:30 against.  See you there!

*ATTENTION Boys Lacrosse players - there is a MANDATORY pre-tryout meeting TONIGHT @ 6:00pm in the Forum.  Please enter through the Forum entrance doors.  

*Congratulations to your Warriors Girls Swim and Dive team on a great meet last night against Regis.  It was a hard fought meet with lots of highlights.  The girls are back in action TOMORROW at Overland.  Good luck girls!

 General Announcements

*Our AHS Thespians did amazingly at the State Competition, December 12th-14th.  We brought 40 students and performed 37 different pieces at the conference this year. 20 of our students qualified for the National Conference, a record for Arapahoe High School. If you see them please congratulate them!

  • In the tech events Addison Becker, Luke Dodge, Ashton Ellis, and Madelyn Smith.

  • In the musical events Olivia Drohan, Moya Goodiel, Kate Jonnard, Eleanor Reed, and Talia Sturtz. 

  • In the acting events Jackson Beeman, Joey Boris, Katie Copp, Ruby Danaceau, Matteo DeNittis, Xander Galvin, Moya Goodiel, Kate Jonnard, Ava Profitt, Lucy Roby, Jay Snodgrass, Lexie Stinson, Talia Sturtz, and Ruby Ulmer.

  • There were over 5,000 students at the conference this year. ‘Philip Glass Buys a Loaf of Bread’ by Ruby Danaceau, Katie Copp, Moya Goodiel, Matteo DeNittis, and Xander Galvin was chosen as the State Champion Group Scene and performed to the full conference. Congratulations to all of our Thespians!

On THURSDAY the girls compete against Overland at Utah Pool, and on SATURDAY the girls host the Arapahoe Invitational.  Good luck to all of our girls swimmers & divers.
