Attention Seniors: Make sure you turn in your Homecoming T-shirt order forms today at lunch in the cafeteria. Or, give them to one of your senior class officers anytime this week.

For any Junior or Senior athlete who is planning on playing Division I or II athletics there will be a meeting today during either lunch in the Forum to go over the changes in NCAA eligibility for 2008. Please sign up in the Guidance Center and we will print an eligibility transcript for you to work through at this session in order to check your eligibility. The signup sheet will be on Mr. Bast’s door in the Guidance Center. See you on Thursday and bring a pencil.

Hey Freshmen, as many of you know Homecoming is only 2 short weeks away. Today after school we are meeting in room S-9 to get ideas for our float. Our float theme is Spiderman! If you are creative, interested in helping, or just have a good idea, stop by room S-9 right after school to discuss our float.

Homecoming Dance Guest forms can be picked up in the Attendance/Activities Office. Only Sophomores, Juniors and Seniors are allowed to bring guests from other schools. All guests must currently be in High School or under the age of 21.

Juniors: We will be building the Homecoming float Saturday Sept. 13 and Saturday Sept. 20 starting at 10:00 a.m. Our comic book is Superman. If you are interested in helping please see Lauryn Schrock or Megan O’Donnell.

Juniors and Seniors: The RMASS PSAT/SAT Test Preparation Seminar will be held at Arapahoe High School on Monday, September 15th and Tuesday September 16th. Please see Mrs. Oeinck in the Guidance Office to register.

It’s time to cheer on your football team! This Friday, the 12th of September, Link Crew is hosting the freshman tailgate party. Meet in the parking lot by the track at 4:30 for food and fun. The cost for food is $3.00. There will be free transportation to the game, but you will need your own ride home. Freshmen, this is your chance to support Arapahoe, see you there!

Please check the Lost and Found table in the Cafeteria for any items you are missing.

Athletics
Congratulations to the JV softball team for defeating Cherokee Trail yesterday by a score of 8 to 5. The Lady Warriors will try to continue their winning streak on Friday as they take on Grandview. Good Luck Ladies. Go get 'em!

The Toms are selling 'spirit pops'. We will be selling gourmet lollipops with Arapahoe team spirit messages during both lunches in the cafeteria tomorrow. Many of you already know these long-lasting flavorful lollipops are a bargain at one for 75 cents or 2 for a dollar. Come support the team and enjoy a delicious treat.
