Announcements:
Warrior community! Please come celebrate the retirement of our
own Mr. Booth on Friday May 11, right after fun in the sun. We will have cake and punch in the cafeteria
from 4-6 p.m. Students, parents and
alumni are welcome.
The last drama club meeting of the year
will be held Monday, May 14th at 2:30 in Mr. Ahern's classroom. At this meeting we will elect officers for
next year and next year's after school shows will be announced. New members are welcome! You won't want to miss it!
Yearbooks will be distributed today in
the cafeteria at lunch and after school until 2:45. Tomorrow is the last day,
and books will be available only at lunch. Please come get your yearbook!
By the way, if you liked the yearbook
and want to get involved in producing the book next year, come talk to us. See
Mr. Anderson if interested.
Seniors . . . If you would like your
collage, please pick it up by Friday in the front office.
Attention Upcoming Graduates: If you have a name that is hard to pronounce
or is different than the norm, please see Mrs. Bradley if your last name begins
with L through the end of the alphabet and Mr. Jansen if your last name begins
with A-K. Fill out an index card stating how your name is pronounced
phonetically and give it to them asap. This includes students Bradley and
Jansen currently have in class. They can be found in the PE area.
Seniors please pay your lunch account
charges today to avoid be fined. Today
in the cafe we have Nicolo's Calzones and an old favorite CHICK FIL A (Woo Hoo). It's going to be warm today we have plenty of
Frozen Yogurt on hand! Stop by the Cafe,
we look forward to seeing you!!
Friday, May 11th all books are due back
to the library. Monday, May 14th is the
deadline to pay all fines. You will not
be able to register if you have any outstanding fines with either the library
or the bookkeeping office. Be sure to check the library overdue lists located
on the bulletin boards in the hallways.
Also we have a few seniors that still
have fines in the library, please come in and take care of them so you can
pick-up your cap and gown this Friday!
It’s almost here. The week you’ve all been waiting for – no,
not summer break – FINAL EXAMS! Finals run
on May 14th, 15th, 16th, and 18th with 3 exams each day. Cafeteria service will only be open
until11:30 a.m. each day. All buses will
run on a regular schedule. Check with your teachers and look at the flyers
around the school to confirm your specific testing times. Prepare and always do
your best! GOOD LUCK, WARRIORS!!!
Athletics:
The girls varsity soccer
team won their 14 game of the season against George Washington High School with
a score of 6-0 and advance to the second round of the state play-offs. Goals scored by: Amanda Cadorette, Lauren
Conley, Stella Norman, Maggie Sexton, Paige Husa, and Rebekah Haysley. GREAT
JOB GIRLS! Next game is this Saturday at Arapahoe High School - come support
your Warrior team!
This evening, the Varsity
Girls' lacrosse team will host their first playoff game, round 2, against #10
ranked Palmer Ridge. Game time is 7 p.m.
at LPS stadium. Please come out and
support the Warriors. Beat the Bears,
Arapahoe!
Attention all Arapahoe
Track & Field athletes. Uniform
Check in will take place on Monday in the equipment room after the last Final
at noon. Pizza will be provided to
everyone who turns in their uniform at that time. Go Warriors.
