Attention
freshmen, sophomores, and juniors: the upcoming PARCC assessments next week
will require headphones for the language arts section. We will be taking
this assessment on Wednesday, March 11. While the district has provided
headphones if necessary, we encourage you to bring your own headphones to take
the assessment.
Reminder:
Alive @ 25 class today in W101 at 2:45 TODAY, if you signed up please show up. There is space
still available for the class. If you are 15 1/2 and are interested in taking
the class it is free, it is normally $39. Just show up at 2:45. The class
goes until 7:15 p.m.

There
will be a Drama Club meeting after school on Thursday in
the auditorium. At that time you will get your cookie dough orders, so be
there!
Have you ever wanted to be Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the
Caribbean or another Disney character? FBLAs volleyball tournament is
Disney inspired. If you would like to
take part the tournament, it is coming up on April 1st. Pick
up your packet in the business office. Hurry as space is limited.
It's time for another Arapahoe Herald survey for
the upcoming issue. This one focuses on diversity at AHS. Check your LPS email
account for the link. Thanks for taking the time to give us your input.
Athletics
The last swim waiver for the school year will be given next week on Thursday, March 12th @ 6:00 a.m. You must pre-register with Mrs. Leyden in the Women's PE Office or by email at jleyden@lps.k12.co.us. Test information is on the AHS website under the student section. Space is limited.
Auditions for the 2015-2016 Tom Toms will be held on March 17th through March 20th, from 4:00-6:00 p.m., in the Auxiliary Gym. A mandatory
parent/athlete meeting will be held on March 9th, at 6:00 p.m., in the Forum. All interested girls should
attend.
