Homecoming 2018 Dancin thru the Decades is just a few weeks away. We need your help nominating your peers for the homecoming royalty court. Please find the nomination form in your school email and take time to nominate a classmate you feel best represents these warrior attributes......someone who takes care of others, someone who demonstrates integrity, and someone who shows spirit and pride for their school.
It's not too late to show off your skills at the Homecoming Talent Show! Audition slots are still available for this Thursday afternoon and Friday morning. See the announcements on the TV for sign-up information, or talk to Mrs. Dusto (Language Arts) or Mrs. Swank (Business).
The PE Department is looking for Certified Lifeguards to Lifeguard Swimming classes at AHS. You must be currently certified with either American Red Cross or Ellis to lifeguard. You can earn PE credit for lifeguarding a swim class. Please email or see Mrs. Leyden in the Women's PE Office if you are interested.
Students, the library printer is broken, if you need to make a copy or print something, check with your teacher about printing in their department office.
Interested in being a committed leader with student council? Here’s an opportunity to join the student council leadership class. Ambassador applications are available in the activities office or on the Student council website . Applications are due by tomorrow, August 28th.

Athletics
Attention all baseball players. We will have a meeting this Thursday in the Forum at 3:45. All players who are not playing a fall sport should attend this meeting.
Congratulations to the Varsity softball team for defeating Rampart 10 to 5 on Saturday. The Lady Warriors are back in action at home tomorrow against Denver East. Game time is 4:30. Come out to the newly renovated softball field and cheer on your Lady Warriors!
Boys lacrosse if you would like to participate in the fall lacrosse league please visit the boys lacrosse website. Be sure to sign up by this Friday, August 31st! All information regarding the off season schedule can be found there, as well.
