Juniors and Seniors -- Come to the Forum today during your lunch period to here about Concurrent Enrollment classes at ACC next semester.  You may bring your lunch.
If you are applying for membership in National Honor Society, remember that your application is due to Mrs. Arnold in the bookkeeper's office, along with your $15 application fee, by tomorrow at 4pm.  If you are already done, please turn things in early before the deadline, to help you avoid standing in a long line after school tomorrow.
There is an FBLA meeting this Wednesday after school in the forum.  During the meeting teams will be decorating pumpkins. Each pumpkin will be displayed in the cafeteria during lunch on Thursday and Friday.  Students are encouraged to vote on their favorite pumpkin by donating loose change. All change will be donate to the March of Dimes Charity.  
There is a correction to the swim waiver being given on Thursday, November 8th at AHS.   The test will begin at 7:00 am. There is still time to sign up. Please email Mrs. Leyden asap. Thank you
Attention Juniors and Seniors! The last student interest meeting for the Washington DC trip will be on Thursday October 25th at 7:55 am in Room C1436. Students who have already attended are welcome to come and get pre-registered for the trip before the deposit is due on November 1st. See Ms. Winn for additional questions!
Hey Warriors, the Food Drive has started! Don’t forget to bring in cans. Collection boxes are in the cafeteria or at the entrances. Bring money to Tribe on October 31st.  Ask your teachers about challenging another class. Let’s support Field Elementary School!
Hey Warriors! Come join LINK crew for Fall Fest! It is on Friday, October 26 and is in the cafeteria after school from 3:30-4:30! We will have pumpkins to decorate, cider to sip, and snacks to eat. See you there!
Juniors and Seniors! Are you interested in being an athlete in college? If so, there will be a NCAA presentation in the Forum Oct. 24th during both lunches. Sign up this week in either the Counseling Department or the Athletic office. The process of registering with NCAA and also NAIA along with qualifications will be discussed at the presentation. You may bring your lunch with you.  
Hey Warriors. The biggest event of the year, is almost here. DECA Dodgeball is this Wednesday, October 24th from 6 to 9 pm in both gyms. This year's theme is DECA Job-Ball. So come out and cheer on your favorite occupation. And yes, there is a teacher team made up of your beloved Arapahoe teachers. Admission to this awesome event is only $3. See you all on Wednesday!

Seniors!  On PLC Wednesday, October 24th, you can get help with the Common Application, essays, Naviance, and the blue tracking forms. Workshops will begin at 7:30AM in both the Forum and the library - you can work until the school day begins with support. Make Wednesday a productive day by taking advantage of this opportunity to get started, work on, or finish up those applications!


Today's college visits from Belmont University and Savannah College of Art & Design will be in the library.  On Thursday, the Post Grad Center will host Fort Hays State, the University of Southern California, Denison University, and Northeastern University.  Please sign up in Naviance!

AHS Cheerleading is selling tickets for their fundraiser night with the Denver Nuggets. Join in on the fun on Saturday, November 3rd, as the Nuggets take on the Utah Jazz at the Pepsi Center. When you purchase through AHS Cheer, your ticket is discounted and a portion of each ticket sold goes back to the AHS Cheerleading Program. Lower level tickets are being sold for $45, and upper level tickets are being sold for $29. Order tickets online by using the link on the AHS Cheerleading social media accounts, or by the link posted on the flyers around school. Ask an AHS Cheerleader for help if you need further information!
