It’s time for eligible juniors and seniors to apply for membership in the National Honor Society! If you are a junior with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, or a senior with a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher, then you are eligible to apply for membership. If your GPA makes you eligible for NHS, but you haven't received a letter mailed to your home yet, please contact Mr. Smith or Ms. McGeorge in the science office, or Ms. Leclaire in language arts. This letter also tells about important informational meetings going on next Monday and Tuesday before and after school. If you are applying for membership to NHS, you MUST attend one of these meetings to learn about the club and the application process.
All Post Grad activities - sophomore appointments and college visits - will be held in the library today.
All students, parents, and guardians are invited to Financial Aid Night next Monday night at 6:00 PM in the theater. Learn about applying for federal and institutional aid AND other ways to reduce your costs for higher education by learning about scholarships, work study, grants, and loans.
On Tuesday, the Post Grad Center will host Western State, the University of Richmond, the University of Colorado at Denver, Fort Hays State, the University of Arizona, Texas Tech University, Kansas State, and the University of Miami. Sign up in Naviance!
PSAT tickets are still being sold. Come by the Counseling department and purchase your ticket for $20. PSAT will be next Wednesday, October 10th at 9:30 am.

Attention All Junior and Seniors: The 2019 trip to Washington DC is here again! This trip is an amazing opportunity to experience Washington DC and Capitol Hill first hand. If you are interested in learning more please attend the student/parent interest meeting next Wednesday October 10th at 6 pm in room W-2887. Please see Ms. Winn in the social studies department if you are not able to attend or have questions.

Your Boys’ Varsity Soccer team won an emotional game over Mullen last night 1-0. Your Warriors are now 10-0-2 on the season and have 3 regular season games left as they make a final push to win the conference and gain a high seed for state playoffs. Come out and support the boys as they're playing some fantastic soccer! Also yesterday, the Junior Varsity beat Mullen by a score of 2-1 in overtime.
