General Announcements
*You may have heard rumors of the mask mandate expiring. Well the rumors are true. The TriCounty Health Department voted earlier this week to let the current mask mandate expire in Arapahoe and Adams counties effective tonight at midnight. Lifting the mandate makes it optional to wear masks in schools.
Therefore, beginning tomorrow with our indoor athletic events and Monday during school, you will not be required to wear a mask. That being said, we know several students and staff will continue to wear them. I ask you to be very respectful of each person's decision regarding masking. You don’t know everyone’s unique circumstances and reasons for wearing a mask. Be kind and behave like a Warrior is expected - respect and take care of those around you.
I ask that you continue to monitor your health symptoms and to stay home if you are sick. If you have any questions about this change, please don’t hesitate to reach out to our health assistant or any administrator. Help us finish this day out strong by following the mandate. *Attention boys swimmers, and divers. If you would like to order optional gear for the upcoming season, the last day to do so is Tuesday, February 8. Please go to the AHS swim and dive website and follow the link to Swim N Things. Contact the booster club board with any questions.
*Anyone interested in being a part of the 2022 Arapahoe Warrior Track and Field Team should attend an informational meeting Monday, February 7th at 3:40 pm in room W-1529. We will be discussing the upcoming spring season and our pre-season mini camp. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family. If you are unable to attend please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of the week.
*Attention girls interested in playing soccer this spring. Due to the snow day, our initial meeting was canceled. We have rescheduled the preseason meeting for Tuesday, February 8th, at 3:45 pm in the Forum
*Attention Girls Golfers, our Parent-Player meeting has been rescheduled for next Wednesday, February 9th, at 6:00 pm in the Forum. See you there.
*Registration for the AHS Warriors Boys Swim & Dive season is open. We are asking each athlete to register by February 8th to have team gear in time for the first meet. Please contact the Booster Board with any questions.
