General Announcements

*Attention all art club members, there will be no art club TODAY, November 3rd. We will resume on November 10th, see you then!

*Calling all lovers of Poetry & Performance! The annual LPS Poetry Slam takes place on Tuesday, November 8th. Sign-up to read OR come and support the great and brave works of high school students from across LPS. See your English teacher or Mr. Kuhlmann for more details. Hope to see you there.  It's always an amazing night!

*Warriors, did you know the Daily Announcements are on the AHS website?  Go to the little black box with the small megaphone marked Daily Announcements to catch any announcements you might have missed.

*Warriors - we are in the final days of our Annual Food Drive for East Elementary.  Tomorrow we will have our last push for non-perishables items. The TRIBE classes that bring in the most food or cash donations by Friday will receive donuts on the December 1st community TRIBE.  On Saturday, November 5th, anyone can drop off donations in the south circle drive from 1:00pm - 3:00pm, so spread the word!

*Butter Braids for Band - support the AHS instrumental music programs and enjoy some delicious Butter Braids, Gluten-Free Cookie Dough or coffee in K-Cup packages. Order by TOMORROW. Order online at: https://www.arapahoebandboosters.com/butter-braids-for-the-band/.

*Attention Warriors - the EPIC Campus is holding a Health Sciences Pathway-Specific Information Night on Monday, November 7th at Heritage High School Cafeteria from 6:30-7:30 pm.  Are you interested in health sciences? Could you see yourself working in a hospital or medical setting?  Are you interested in medicine? Have you ever thought about a career in mental health or sports medicine? If you answered yes to any of the questions above, join us at the Health Sciences Information meeting and learn more about this exciting pathway which will be available to students at the EPIC Campus.  Here is the link to RSVP.

Athletics

*Congratulations to the LPS Gymnastics team for making the State team finals! Come support the team at Thornton High School TONIGHT at 3pm. Good luck ladies! 

*Attention all Girls planning to play Basketball for AHS this winter - please plan to attend our pre-season Camp this week - tonight and Friday after school, as well as the following week November 7th - 12th. All workouts will be at AHS. 

*Anyone interested in being a part of the 2023 Arapahoe Warrior Track and Field team should attend an informational meeting Tuesday, November 8th at 3:40pm in room W-1529.  We will be discussing the upcoming spring season and winter workouts. Come and be a part of the Arapahoe track family. If you are unable to attend, please see Coach Lienemann sometime before the end of next week.
