*Do you love science, technology, engineering and math? Join the TSA Club! Come meet like-minded people in the Tech lab, room E1286, after school TODAY for our Kick Off Meeting.
*ATTENTION talented Warriors! Do you want to showcase your talent at this year's 2023 Homecoming Talent Show? You're in luck! Auditions will be Wednesday, August 30th after school. Please see Ms. Hamilton or Mrs. Davidson to sign up in advance!
*Calling all Homecoming Powderpuff teams. Get your team of 10-12 girls together and register ASAP! All registration must be filled out by Wednesday, August 30th using the QR codes posted in the hallway or the link in your emails. A staff sponsor must be registered with your team, but coaches can be parents, students, or teachers. The Prelim tournament will be September 2nd and the Championship games will be September 6th. See you on the field!
*Warriors, if you are planning to bring a guest (someone who is not an AHS student) to our Homecoming Dance on Saturday, September 9th, please stop by the Front Desk or Activities office to pick up a Guest Pass Approval Form. This Approval Form is due by Thursday, September 7th at 3:00pm.
*SUPPORT Arapahoe Theatre and get something great to eat at the same time. Stop by Zell’s Creperie on Friday, September 8th between 7:00am and 7:00pm and grab a panini or crepe. Mention Arapahoe Theatre and some of the proceeds will go to the program.
Athletics
*The Varsity Softball team picked up wins over Fort Collins and Grand Junction Central this weekend in the FAN Tournament. Great job, ladies! Both Varsity and JV softball have a busy week; Varsity has games against Douglas County, Mountain Vista, and Wheat Ridge. JV will play against Castle View and Mountain Vista. Good Luck Warriors!
*Your Warrior Fresh/Soph ABK Boys are coming off a strong 10-0 win against Dakota Ridge on Saturday and face Legacy today in Broomfield at 4:30pm.
*Hey Warriors! Tickets go on sale Tuesday, August 29th during lunch for the Arapahoe vs Heritage football game taking place Friday night at 7:00pm at LPS Stadium. There is a limited number of tickets available and this game will sell out so buy your tickets immediately. Cash or check will be the method of payment. Please note: Arapahoe students with an athletic pass will need to bring their student ID or a photo of their ID on their phone to present at the admissions gate. No Infinite Campus search will be accepted for free admission. If you need to get a new ID to show you have an athletic pass, please visit the bookkeeper’s office before Thursday to have a new ID printed. Ticket prices are $7 for adults (18-65), $5 for students (K-12) and $5 for Senior Citizens (over 65). There are NO online tickets for this game. Go Warriors!
