*Our AHS Unified program will be leading our first ever ‘Inclusion Week’ this week. It is a national awareness campaign celebrating belonging, acceptance and participation of people of all abilities in school, workplaces and communities. You all look GREAT with your crazy hair. We want YOU to help us celebrate Arapahoe Inclusion Week and dress up:
Wednesday, March 4 – PJ Day
Thursday, March 5 – Jersey/Sports Shirt Day
*WARRIORS - we are collecting new or gently used coats for our trip to Wind River. There will be large boxes in the cafeteria and trophy hallway until March 13th. Warriors always take care of one another!
*News from the Post Secondary Center! The University of Massachusetts, Amherst and University of Northern Colorado are here TOMORROW! Sign up in Scoir!
*Warriors - March 16th is College Colors Day! Show your support for your favorite team, where you've committed, or where you dream of going! That evening join us for the AHS College Information Night! There will be a Q&A panel at 6:30pm and a college fair with 30 regional and national colleges and universities at 7:30pm! All grades and their families are invited and encouraged to attend! It's not too early and never too late to start preparing for Post-secondary opportunities.
*Come check the Lost & Found tables in the cafeteria. We have over 60 water bottles and 25 hoodies & jackets waiting to be claimed!
*The AHS capstone group 'Chance for Childrens' is raising money and fundraising to make gift bags for children in the NICU and cancer center at Children's Hospital. They will be hosting a toy and blanket drive from March 9th -13th and all donations must be unused. Donation baskets will be located at the forum and the bubble entrances.
*Butter Braids for Band - support the AHS instrumental music programs and enjoy some delicious butter braids. Order by March 6th. Pick up will be March 14th. Order online at https://www.arapahoebandboosters.com/butter-braids-2026/
Athletics
*We’re gearing up for an awesome Arapahoe Boys Lax Season! Come pack the stands and help us start our season off right TONIGHT at this year’s Foundation Game! Come cheer on the Boys Varsity LAX against Castle View @ Littleton Stadium at 7:00pm. The Foundation Game supports suicide prevention and mental health awareness. Admission to the game is your donation. All proceeds go to support The Nick Bales, Brought To Reality Foundation! Let’s show our support for BTR by spreading the message that it’s always OK to ask for help if your struggling with thoughts of suicide. See you there!!
*Good luck to our Boys LPS Volleyball teams as they take on Castle View TONIGHT at Castle View High School. Varsity will play at 6:00pm after JV & C team play at 4:45pm.
*Let’s PACK the stands and cheer on your Girls Basketball team TOMORROW @ HOME as they take on Fort Collins in the Sweet 16 of the 5A CHSAA Girls Basketball Playoffs. Tip off is at 5:30pm. No AHS Athletic Passes may be used. Tickets are $8 for adults and $6 for students.
