General Announcements
*Save the Date Warriors! AHS is excited to host the 3rd Annual Cultures of Arapahoe, presented by the Multicultural Student Alliances and—for the first time—in collaboration with AHS Vocal Music. The event will take place on Wednesday, May 6th, with the cultural fair from 5:00–6:30pm in the cafeteria, followed by the Music From Around the World concert at 7:00pm in the theater. This event is FREE and everyone is welcome!
*Hey Seniors - just a quick reminder - Check your email and complete the Google Form to record how to pronounce your name for graduation. Please use a computer (NOT YOUR PHONE), follow the directions on the form, due by May 15, 2026. Need help? Stop by Student Services.
*Over the past school year, your AHS Daily Announcements have been brought to you by some very dedicated students. Thank you to Lucy, Sophia, Quinn, Maggie, Caley, Marley, Pearl, Nola, Kerri & Millie! If you see them, give them a big THANK YOU!
*Calling all students! Would you like to be an AHS Daily Announcer for the 2026-27 school year? We need a few students who would like to commit to 1 day a week for the year or even just a semester, giving AHS news to our students and staff through our daily announcements. Come to the Front Desk and sign up for a time to try-out! Let your voice shine through our Daily Announcements.
*Hey Juniors & Seniors - Join us for a Great Gatsby evening at Asterisk Denver on Saturday, May 9th, 8:00pm-10:30pm. This is a Junior/Senior ONLY event (underclassmen can only come with an upperclassmen). Guest passes for students from other schools are available at the Front Desk or Attendance Office. Guest forms must be turned in before attending Prom. Prom tickets will be on sale during both lunches in the cafeteria for $40.
*Seniors and Juniors - when Prom is over - join us HERE at AHS for our Arapaloha After Prom from 11:00-2:30am. There will be food, games, activities and PRIZES. Tickets will go on sale next week, Monday, May 4th through Friday, May 8th at both lunches in the Cafeteria. Tickets are $35.
Athletics
*Congratulations to the 2026 Boys Swimming & Diving Centennial League Champions... YOUR ARAPAHOE WARRIORS!! The Warriors shocked the league and moved up from 5th place in 2025 to win it all this year! AHS Head Coach Eric Eikenbary was named ‘Coach of the Year’ for the league. The team qualified an unbelievable 21 athletes to the next weekend's CHSAA 5A State Championships. Good luck guys!
*CONGRATULATIONS to our LPS Boys Volleyball team. They are Region 2 Champions! Next, on to State.
