Announcements:
Attention Seniors - Reminder Senior class meeting in the Theater on Tuesday April 24 at 10:30 a.m. - Important graduation and year end information will be shared - See your there!

Prom is quickly approaching, so make sure to mark your calendars for the 2012 Prom Fashion and Talent Show.  The show is Tuesday, April 24th at 5 and 7 p.m. in the AHS Theater.  Prom Royalty will be revealed during the 7 p.m. show. Tickets are only $5 and go on sale today during both lunches.

Prom tickets will be sold in the cafeteria during both lunches starting Monday, April 23rd through Friday, May 4th.  Tickets are $35 prior and $40 at the door.

Bringing a guest to Prom? Make sure to pick up a guest form in the Attendance office, due back no later than 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1st.

After Prom tickets will go on sale Wednesday, April 25 during lunch. They are $15 if purchased before Prom and $18 at the door.

After Prom means that time of year for After Prom Senior Collages. The After Prom Committee has decided to let you choose the size of your Senior Collage as long as it is a rectangle and no larger than 28" X 22". Please follow the Monopoly guidelines in the March/April Newsletters.

Juniors, the classroom assignments for the State ACT are now posted in the cafeteria. Please check the list so you will know which classroom to report to on Tuesday morning. Remember to arrive no later than 7:10am and bring photo ID, two #2 pencils, and a calculator with you on Tuesday. Good luck on the test and always remember to do your best!

If you are interested in reading the daily announcements next year, sign up for auditions in the Attendance Office with Mrs. Ayres.  Auditions will be held April 26 right after school.  Deadline to sign up is April 24.

Athletics:

Congratulations to the Varsity Girls Golf Team for a first place finish in the Centennial League Tournament yesterday.  Five of the top 10 players were AHS golfers;  Hannah Wood--75,  Katy Dyachkova--76,  Claudia Davis--79,  Holly Schaefer--82 and Nikki Backman--83.

The varsity girls soccer team defended Mullen in a 1 to 0 win on Tuesday. Their next game is today at 7:30 at LPS against Smoky Hill. Come out and support the ABK girls tonight!

The Girls Gold Lacrosse team defeated the Smoky Hill JV team with a score of 9 - 4. Great job girls. Keep it up Saturday against ThunderRidge!

The JV Tennis Team had a great week winning all 3 of their matches.  The team defeated Cherokee Trail 7-4; Cheyenne Mountain 6-3; and finished off Mullen yesterday at home 7-2. The teams final home match
will be next Tuesday against Overland at Powell Middle School at 3:30.  Good Luck Warriors.

Good luck to the top 8 JV tennis teams playing this weekend in the Heritage Liberty Bell Tournament. Matches start at Arapahoe and Littleton HS at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow.

Boys Varsity lacrosse game tonight at LPS Stadium at 5:00 vs CO Academy.
