Thursday, 9/20: Happy Decade
day! Tomorrow is Spirit day! Seniors and Sophomores wear black and Juniors
and Freshmen wear gold. Be sure to stop by the cafeteria and buy a t-shirt for
$5 in the cafeteria if you need one! Make sure you wear your class colors and
get pumped for the pep assembly! The Arapahoe
Homecoming Dance is on Saturday in the main gym from 8-11 p.m. Tickets are on sale for $10 during both lunches
or $15 at the door! Don’t forget, dress
is semi-formal. Students in denim will
not be allowed in. Also, make sure to
bring your student ID. Saturday is also
the Homecoming Parade at 10 a.m. in the West Lot. You can check out all the different floats
and watch the band and color guard perform!

Today in the cafe is Chick Fil A, cheese bread stix,
a variety of cold sandwiches, fresh fruit, yogurt parfaits, and frozen yogurt.
Lunch today is . . . pig in a blanket, or grilled turkey and cheddar
sandwich, salads, fresh fruit, veggies, and milk. NOW FOR A REAL TREAT!!
EVERY FRIDAY WILL BE $1.00 PIZZA DAY!! YES YOU HEARD
IT RIGHT!! EVERY SLICE IS $1.00. For those purchasing a pizza lunch
your extra slice will be $1.00 too!! See

Pepperdine University
will have a representative on our campus today. If you're interested in
attending the visit sign up through Naviance or stop by the Post Grad Center
for more information.
Senior Information
Packets are available in the Main office and Guidance office. Custom announcement
and accessory information will be included. Please stop by promptly and pick up
your packet.
Wild Warrior Women, if you want to help us decorate the school meet in
the cafeteria at 2:30 today. Also, outfits for this year have been
delivered! You can pick them up after school today at Liz Brown's house. See
her or any sponsor for an address!
Are you interested in
being a part of the You Matter Club? If so, join us for our first club
meeting today at 2:30 in the Guidance Office Conference Room. See Mrs.
Talen or Dr. Song if you have any questions. We look forward to seeing

Mark your calendars and
get moving for October 28th. The Stride 5k and 10k run takes place on Sunday,
October 28th at Ketring Park in Littleton. This is a family fun fitness event
to help support the Littleton Public Schools Foundation and Arapahoe High
School. Register early to save $5.00 on registration fees. Register online at www.runthestride.com
by Friday, Sept. 21st.
Hello Warriors! The
Denver Komen Race for the Cure is Sunday, October 7, 2012! Arapahoe is
defending our title of the largest high school team registered! Join our
team, and be a part of this amazing event. You can register by simply going to
the Arapahoe High School home page and you'll find directions there. Our Arapahoe Cheers and Toms will be at the
start line to cheer on all participants. If you would like, you can walk with
the AHS team as we show the world what it means to be a WARRIOR. We race as Warriors to honor those who have survived
breast cancer, those who are fighting it, those who have lost the fight, and
for the hope of a cure. Let’s go Warriors!!!
Athletics
Congrats to the boys tennis team yesterday with their full
sweep against Smoky Hill! Come cheer the
varsity boys tennis team as they play against Eaglecrest today after school at
the AHS courts. JV plays at Powell. Don't forget to bring your old tennis
racquets to the courts too, to give to the charity, Racquets for All. We will
be collecting them through the first week of October. Go Warriors!
After the Football Game on Friday Night, there will be a 5th
Quarter Party at Qdoba in South Glenn for all Araphoe Football Players,
Students and Fans. Go Warriors
