Last night was the opening of
It's A Wonderful Life and the show is Un - be - lievable! Today is
your last day to buy tickets at lunch. The show is almost sold out, so
don't wait to buy them at the door. $5.00 for students, $7.00 for adults,
or buy them online at www.seatyourself.biz/arapahoe. You can also support Food Bank of the Rockies
by bringing non-perishable food items to the last two show nights and help make
life a little more wonderful for those in need.
Today is the last day to donate canned goods
for the Food Bank of the Rockies. Student
council has some fun lunchtime activities for you. Today we will have a raffle
during both lunches. Bring two cans with you to lunch to get a raffle ticket.
We will be drawing a winner at the end of lunch for a gift card to the DECA
store. Thanks for your help in
supporting those in need.
The results to the University of Northern
Colorado Math Contest are in! 2,383 students in Colorado from grades 5-12
took the test with 270 qualifying for the final round. Six of those
students are from Arapahoe. Congratulations to Logan
Brock, Shannon Jones, Derek Severson, Nicholas Sabo, Sanjay
Patil, and Sarah McEntire! If anyone who took the test would like to
see their score, please see Mrs. Victor in the math office by Friday, November
16th.
Students -- Please take a survey about safety
and security being conducted by the newspaper and the yearbook staffs. Look for
the link on the AHS homepage, or check your LPS email account. The survey will
remain open until Sunday, Nov. 10. Thank you for your input.
Free Alive @ 25 class
for AHS students November 29th, 3pm-7:30pm. The class is normally $39. To sign
up go to the alive @ 25 website or there's a link on the schools website or
talk to Deputy Englert.
Athletics
Arapahoe
has advanced in the 5A football playoffs and will travel on Friday, November
9th to take on Horizon at North Stadium with a 7:00 p.m. kickoff. Ticket prices will be $5 for students and $7
for adults. Go Warriors! Due to a lack of participants, there will be no
"spirit" bus headed to the football game on Friday at North Stadium.
Let's still come pack the stadium with Warrior Spirit and cheer our team on to
another playoff game victory! Go Warriors!
Winter
Sports Registration wraps up today. Paperwork can be turned in from 2:00-2:30
p.m. in the Cafeteria. First day of official practice will be on Friday
so get your paperwork turned in today!
