Congratulations
to Junior, Gabriella Noreen. She will be
performing with the Denver Nuggets Jr. Elite dance team at the Nuggets game on
March 19th!!!
Student
Council Officers and Ambassadors - there is a mandatory meeting today after
school. We will be decorating for Warrior Week. We will meet in the
cafeteria at 2:30 pm.
Seniors -
If you signed up to play on the Warrior Week basketball team, there will be a
very brief meeting Monday after
school at 2:30 pm in
Room C19. Basketball jerseys will be handed out at this time. If
you cannot attend this meeting, please see Mr. Brandberg in the World Languages
office.

to compete in Arapahoes first Black Light Volleyball Tournament? Sign up
Packets are now available to be picked up in the Business Department.

Hey Warriors! Warrior Week starts next Monday. Show your support
for Adam’s Camp by coming to the many events throughout the week. As usual, on
Monday the AHS Singers and CU Buffoons will perform in the Auditorium at 7 pm,
and on Wednesday there will be a student vs. staff basketball game at 7:00 pm
in the Main Gym. There are also a few
new events this year! On Monday, come to
Chipotle between 4:00 and 8:00 pm. Mention you are from Arapahoe, and Chipotle
will donate 50% of their proceeds to Adam’s Camp. Additionally, there will be
three dress-up days this year! Wear your
favorite band’s t-shirt on Monday, your favorite sports apparel on Wednesday,
and your AHS 50th anniversary t-shirt on Friday for the all-school
assembly! Let’s show our school spirit and help out Adam’s Camp!
The Project Linus group is still dedicated to having every
Arapahoe student receive a blanket. If you have not received a blanket
yet, and would still like one, please sign up. The list is on the table next to
the clinic in the guidance office.
Athletics
Arapahoe Varsity girl golfers took 1st place in Thursday's 9
Hole Centennial League Tourney by one stroke. Leading the way were Hannah
Wood-37, Holly Schaefer-39, Nikki Backman-41, Hannah Eddy-41, Piper Koy-43.
This afternoon, the Varsity girls’ lacrosse
team will open its season, taking on the Eaglecrest Raptors. The game
will be played at Eaglecrest High School at 4:30 pm. Come
out and support the team as they pursue a great season. Go Warriors, beat
the Raptors!
Are you looking for something to do this
afternoon? Come and cheer on your 1-0 Sophomore baseball team as they take on
Regis at 4:00 on the Arapahoe field! Come have a grilled hotdog, brat, or
hamburger while watching the game. Don't miss it!
Good luck to our Track
and Field team as they hit the ground running this weekend. The JV meet
is this afternoon at Smoky Hill High School and Varsity takes
on Heritage and Littleton tomorrow in the much-anticipated LPS
Spring Break Duals meet right here on our home track. Let those feet fly,
Warriors!
The
Spring Swim Waiver will be given on Thursday morning, March 20th @ 6:00 am at the AHS pool. You must pre-sign up
with Mrs. Leyden. You can stop by the Women's PE Office or send her an email.
Only current 9-12 graders in LPS may take the test. You must be ready to swim
at 6:00 am.
Be at the pool by 5:50. Currently enrolled seniors cannot take the
test.
