The Muse
magazine would like to thank everyone who submitted their writings, poems,
and artworks to the magazine this year. We had a tremendous amount of
good work from the student body, and decisions about acceptance were
difficult. However, we have made final decisions, and have posted a list
of accepted artists, writers, and poets in the glass Muse case near the English
office. Feel free to check it out, and congratulations to all writers and
artists who will have their work printed in Volume 12 of the Muse!
TCAP Testing will
be March 11, 12, and 13th for 9th and 10th graders. Buses will run
on a normal schedule. 11th and 12th
graders will have a late start and should arrive at school no earlier
than 11:15 a.m. Buses will run a late pick up schedule for
these students four hours later. Class
schedules are posted around the building.
Attention Warriors - We know that finding quiet study space can be a challenge at times, so we would like to let you know that on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from next week until the end of the semester, you will have access to the following quiet study spaces during periods 3 through 6. S12 will be open during 3rd period, N6 will be open during fourth period, C23 will be open during 5th period, and E9 will be open during 6th period. Remember: those spaces will be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. The fourth period room, N6, will operate on a 2nd lunch schedule, which means that it will be open for use during and after 1st lunch, but will be closed during 2nd lunch. If you need reminders about the room numbers, ask any teacher.
Warriors,
your AHS Library could use your help! We

are not sure if you have a book out or not, please check the Library Overdue
list on the bulletin boards in the North and South hallways as well as the
bulletin board across from the Bookkeeper’s office. No fines will be
charged. Thanks for your help!
