At the
after prom a junior won a package from Herff Jones. Could that winner
come to the front office at her convenience? There is a pack of
information that goes with that prize. Thank you!!
Seniors,
please come to the front office TODAY to pick up your senior collage.
As many students know,
the yearbooks will be distributed TODAY. This year, The Muse is teaming up, and we will be
selling The Muse magazine in the cafeteria alongside
the yearbooks. Look for our table on the east side of the cafeteria, near
the office. If you've forgotten to pick up a Muse from Mr. Miles, this is a great
opportunity to get it when you get your yearbook-- two publications
that will help you remember this very important year.
- Yearbooks will be distributed today from 2:20 to 3:30 p.m. No books will be distributed before 2:20.
- Seniors: You will pick up your books on the south side of the cafeteria.
- All other students will get their books on the north side of the cafeteria.
- You must show your photo ID or an Infinite Campus printout with your photo to pick up your yearbook.
- You may NOT pick up books for friends or siblings.
- From Tuesday through Thursday, books will be distributed during both lunches and after school in the cafeteria.
- Yearbooks must be picked up by Thursday, May 15 in order to get books cleared before final exams.
- Additional signing page inserts will be on sale for $1. Eight blank pages for a buck.
- To check whether you ordered a yearbook, check your Infinite Campus account or the Bookkeeper’s Corner on the AHS website for a list.
- There will be a limited number of yearbooks for sale on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost is $80, cash or check payable to AHS.

out the season strong!
Last Friday under the
lights of LPS stadium, your ABK Varsity girls soccer team beat a tough team
from Monarch High School 1-0 to advance to the Elite Eight in the State
Playoffs! Paige Husa's goal hit the back of the net with 5 minutes left in
a 0-0 game to advance the Warriors to Victory. The girls face Pine Creek
next on Tuesday night at District 20 Stadium in
Colorado Springs at 6:30. GO ABK!!!!
Last
Friday night at LPS Stadium, your Arapahoe girls’ lacrosse team took care of
business on their road to the State Championship. The Warriors defeated
Mullen by a decisive score of 14-6. The offense maintained control of the
ball for the majority of the game, while the defense prevented the Mustangs
from mounting an effective attack. Congratulations Warriors for your
great victory in Round 2 of the playoffs! Stay tuned for details for
their next game in Round three, which will be played sometime in the middle of
this week. Go Arapahoe!
The boys Varsity lacrosse team came
from behind for a thrilling overtime victory over Mountain Vista on
Saturday in the Quarterfinal Round of the State Championships
playoffs. The Warriors were down by seven goals in the third quarter
before turning it on with nine goals in the third and fourth quarters.
Brian Wilson put in a goal with seven seconds left in the game on a feed from
Zach Runberg to tie it up and put the game into overtime. Austin Shindoll
then followed up with a spectacular behind the back goal to win the game.
But the true stars of the game were our wonderful fans who showed up and loudly
urged us on to victory! We invite all Warrior fans to wear their black
and come out and support our boys on Wednesday night as they take on
Regis Jesuit in the Semifinals at All City Stadium at South High School in
Denver. Game time to be announced.
All girls
interested in playing softball in the fall, please plan on attending a short
meeting on Wednesday,
May 14th at 2:30 in Room
S1. See Coach Krueger if you have any questions.

Warriors always take care of one
another.
