Announcements
Student Council will meet in the theater until further notice
beginning tomorrow, Tuesday the 19th. As a reminder, student
council meetings are open to any Arapahoe student who wishes to participate.
All freshmen interested in running for a student council
class office should plan on attending one of the intent-to-run meetings on Tuesday, August 19.
There is a before-school meeting at 6:45 am in the
theater and an after-school meeting at 2:30 pm in W201.
Welcome Warriors! Time to get involved in AHS activities. Are
you interested in joining the Drama Club? If you are a Freshman, come to the
informational meeting this Wednesday after
school in Room E-15. We will also have a meeting for all grades on Thursday,
after school in the auditorium. See Mr. Ahern in Room E-15 with any questions.
Do you have talent and want to showcase it at our
school Homecoming talent show? Then don’t miss talent show tryouts
on Monday, August 25th. Sign up for your slot
at the front desk in the main office today!
Attention all senior women! Come to a Wild Warrior
Women meeting in W201--202 tomorrow, Tuesday, at 2:30. We will be
discussing how to order outfits for this year and other general homecoming week
activities. Please plan on attending!
Welcome
back Warriors!! Starting today and every day this school year,
student breakfast will be available at 6:45 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. Students applying for free and reduced meals
may now apply online and avoid all that paperwork and delay getting approval.
Information may be found on lpsnutrition.com or
the district website as well. Charging
meals will not be allowed. Please submit funds into your lunch accounts
or bring cash. Lunch today: hamburgers,
sub sandwich, entree salad w/roll, crispy chicken sandwich, and chicken tenders. Have a great first day!!
