Hey
Warriors! Dodgeball registration is finally here. This year's theme is
World Wide Dodgeball. Teams will be made up of five boys and five girls.
Registration is first come, first served and only the first 24 teams to
register will be allowed in the tournament. Pick up your registration packet in
the Business Office starting today.
May the force be with you at
the F-B-L-A scavenger
hunt! Come members, come all tomorrow right after school in E9!
Lost and Found: Please
check the table in the cafeteria for clothing items and the Attendance Office
for smaller items. After this Friday all items will be donated.
Athletics
The Varsity and JV tennis teams defeated
Grandview yesterday. Today will be a beautiful sunny afternoon so drive over to
Creek and watch both teams serve up some aces against the Bruins. Matches start
at 3:30.
Then don't forget to watch the last two matches of the season on Wednesday and Thursday on the
AHS and Powell courts. Go Warriors.
Your Varsity boys soccer team is taking
on Mullen today at the Arapahoe High School soccer field at 4:30 – come out to root them on to victory.
Warriors volleyball has two home games
this week, tonight against Mullen, and Wednesday against
Grandview. Jimmy John's will bring samples to the concession stand on Wednesday night, so come get a free sandwich
while you watch the game! Come out and support our Warriors on our home court!
The Arapahoe High School Baseball Booster
Club meeting scheduled for tonight, September 23rd, has been canceled. Please plan on
attending our first meeting on Tuesday, October 14th, 7:00 p.m. in the Forum. Thanks!
Hey Warriors! Come out and support the Varsity football team as
they take on the Heritage Eagles Friday night at LPSS. Kick-off is
at 7:00 p.m. Tickets will be on sale in the cafeteria during both lunches Thursday and Friday.
Students - please remember to bring your student ID to the game. If
you have an SBA pass on your ID, you will not need to purchase
a ticket. Ticket prices are $5 for adults and $3 for students
K-12.
There will
be NCAA/NAIA Compliance Orientation on Tuesday, September 30th during
lunches in the Forum for all Juniors and Seniors interested in competing in
athletics on the college level. For more information and to sign up for
this meeting, please stop by either the Athletic or Guidance Office.
2015 will be a banner year for the AHS girls lacrosse team,
but we need your help. Join us on Monday, October 6th, from 7:00- 8:15 p.m., for the kick off meeting for all players and parents
in the AHS Cafeteria. We are excited to welcome our Freshman families
as well as all returning players! Our fun and talented Coaches, Stacey
Birlson and Carrie Levi, will join us this evening. All athletes,
experienced and inexperienced, are encouraged to come hear about the AHS Girls
Lacrosse 2015 plans. Please bring your
friends looking for an exciting team experience! For more information,
