Congratulations
to the Warrior Marching Band and Color Guard for two outstanding performances
this past weekend at the Legacy Marching Invitational!!!! Arapahoe placed
sixth overall in finals competition with a score of 69.65 (fourth overall in 5A
competition) and improved their score from prelims by 1.5 points!!!!
Great job!!!! The band and guard will be competing at the Douglas County
Marching Invitational at Douglas County High School on Saturday, October 4th and
will be performing at 3:45 p.m.
Hey Key Club! Don't forget that we have a meeting after school
in room N2. See you there.
Picture
re-takes will be taken tomorrow, September 30th from 10 a.m. to noon in the
main office hallway. Please return your photo packet to the photographer for
retakes. If you have NOT had your picture taken, please do so on
Tuesday. You need to have this photo for your student ID card. All students are
required to carry a student ID card.
Attention Seniors: Your Senior Class Panoramic Picture will be
taken on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:50 a.m. in the Main Gym. Remember - this is
the ONLY time pictures will be taken of the entire Senior Class, so DON'T MISS
OUT! You only have one chance to be a part of this special event, so BE THERE
on Tuesday, October 7th at 7:50 a.m.!

Congratulations
to the JV tennis team for their undefeated season. The team had huge wins over
Cherry Creek and Mullen to close out the competition. Thank you to the
Captains, Jimmy Hall, Ben Ollada, and Nolan Ollada for their leadership. Thanks
to all the players for a great season.
There will
be NCAA/NAIA Compliance Orientation tomorrow during
lunches in the Forum for all Juniors and Seniors interested in competing in
athletics on the college level. For more information and to sign up for
this meeting, please stop by either the Athletic or Guidance Office.
Registration for the 2014-2015 girls swim and dive season is open. Go to www.ahsgirlsswimdive.com and click on Registration to get started. Additionally, plan to join us on October 1st, 6:00 p.m. for the new swimmer/diver meeting in Forum, and 6:00-8:00 p.m. in Library to try-on and order your team suit, this is MANDATORY for all swimmers and divers.
2015 will be a banner year for the AHS girls lacrosse team,
but we need your help. Join us on Monday, October 6th, from 7:00- 8:15 p.m., for the kick off meeting for all players and parents
in the AHS Cafeteria. We are excited to welcome our Freshman families
as well as all returning players! Our fun and talented Coaches, Stacey
Birlson and Carrie Levi, will join us this evening. All athletes,
experienced and inexperienced, are encouraged to come hear about the AHS Girls
Lacrosse 2015 plans. Please bring your
