It's hard to believe, but Homecoming is
just around the corner! An important part of the Homecoming tradition is
the royalty court, members of the Arapahoe family elected by their peers as
representatives of the Warrior spirit to our community, school, and alumni.
Look for the voting forms on the AHS homepage and cast your vote by today.
Hey Warriors! This year student
council would like to invite the whole student body to participate in the
Homecoming parade. If you are interested in making a float, make sure you have
a staff sponsor and fill out the Homecoming parade form on the student council
webpage by Friday,
September 5th.
Seniors: Have you heard about the
Boettcher Foundation Scholarship? It is essentially a full ride
scholarship to any college or university in Colorado. If you want to learn
more, please come to an information session either first or second lunch on Friday, September 5 in the Forum. Questions? Ask Mrs.
Lewallen in the Post Grad Center.

Congratulations
to the JV softball team for their 8 to 2 victory over Heritage yesterday. Good
luck this weekend at the tournament in Westminster. Go Warriors!
Congrats to the Varsity and JV Varsity boys soccer teams for
their BIG victories last night in the Warrior Tournament. For Varsity - Mike Chism scored two goals and
Duncan Malone and Isaac Setor scored one each.
Come support the Varsity boys again tonight at LPS at 7:30
p.m. as they battle cross-town rivals Littleton High School.
Please congratulate the Arapahoe Varsity and Junior Varsity golf
team. Both teams are currently in first place. They won the Grandview
Invitational against 22 other teams. Turner
Johnson lead the way with a 4 under par 68 and Henry Schaefer had a 2 under par
70. There is one league match to go on Thursday at Aurora
Hills. Varsity is ahead by two strokes and JV is almost unreachable as
they are ahead by over 30 strokes. Arapahoe is lucky to have one of the deepest
teams in years with 15 kids able to shoot in the 70s. Go Warriors!
Come cheer on our Varsity
gymnastics team for the first meet of the season at Cherry Creek High School today
at 6:00 p.m.
