Special Toys for
Tots Announcement From Student Body President
Toys for Tots: Good morning, Warriors! I’m here
to announce the results of the Avalanche of Toys and Miracle Minute
competitions! The generous spirit of Arapahoe was truly on display yesterday as
a total of 508 toys and over $2650 was donated!
All in one day, one class period and one minute! Way to go Warriors!
Remember, all toys and money donated go directly to benefit our Toys for Tots
program, Garden Place Academy, and the Denver Indian Center.
And now,
for the winners of the two class contests! First, the class that brought in the
most toys as a percentage of students in the class (and, actually, the most
total toys, too), and winners of the $5 Chipotle gift cards, was Ms.
Smith’s class at 532% (and 149 toys). Congrats to Ms. Smith’s class!
Your gift cards will be delivered soon!
Next, the
class that brought in the most money (and, actually, the highest percentage per
student, too), and winners of a class doughnut party, was Mr. Sisler’s class
with $147.26 (and 526%)! Congratulations to Mr. Sisler’s class!
Remember,
the real winners during our Toys for Tots campaign are the kids at Garden Place
Elementary and the Denver Indian Center. Thank you, Warriors, for your amazing
generosity and support!
Be sure to check the Arapahoe website for further details.
