General Announcements
Attention members of
National Honor Society... Your service logs for this semester are due by the
end of next week. You can print a service log from our school NHS
webpage, and you can turn it in to Mr. Smith's desk in the science office, any
time before the end of the semester. Please Note: Brand new members of NHS
who were just inducted are not expected to turn in a service log for this fall
semester.
Attention
all future doctors, nurses and teachers! We have just the thing for
you! The Health Sciences and Teacher Cadet programs are wonderful
opportunities for high school students to learn more about the career path they
are interested in, with classroom instruction and hands on experiences. High
school students can even become certified nursing assistants right out of high
school! Please see your counselor for more information.
PSAT
results are in. Stop by the Counseling Department and pick up your hard
copy.
ATTENTION SENIORS!: Monday December
19th, at 12:15, we will be participating in painting our hands onto the wall.
This has been a growing tradition at Arapahoe and we would like to continue
this year by leaving our mark on the school, and chowing down some breakfast
burritos that will be supplied whilst waiting to paint, or waiting for your
friends to paint their hand on. This will be a fun social event to talk with
friends and reflect on good times at Arapahoe. Please BE THERE!
The latest edition of The Herald magazine hits the
news-stands today. Get your copy from your 2nd period teacher, or look for
copies in the cafeteria news-stands and in the library.
