Are you a natural leader? Are you looking to be a part of a fantastic team, or even just meet new people? Then Student Council is the place for you. It’s a great way to get involved in all of the major happenings of Arapahoe and have a lot of fun at the same time. For those who want to have a voice and make a lasting impact on our school, we meet every Tuesday morning at 6:20 in the forum- breakfast is included!
All those interested in joining the Drama Club - there will be a meeting today at 2:30 in the theatre. If you'd like to be involved onstage or backstage this year, please come to this meeting. For more information, see Mr. Ahern in room E1358.
Hello, Freshmen class of 2021! Are you interested in becoming a leader? Any freshman that is interested in becoming an officer for Student Council, come to the intent-to-run meeting on Tuesday the 29th at 6:45 in the morning in the forum or 2:30 in the afternoon in C1458! We’re excited to see you there!
Lost or misplaced your student ID? Please come the attendance office to see if it has been turned in, ID’s are required to enter the dance on Friday.
Students, if you are not going to be using your locker, please come to see Mrs. Arnold in the bookkeeping office.
The AHS Back-to-School Dance is Friday, Aug 25, 8-10 pm, in the Auxiliary Gymnasium. Cost is $5/person and tickets will be sold at the door. This dance is for AHS students only, and you will be required to have your student ID with you. The LPS Dance Policy will be enforced for all dances.
Do you like singing today's hit music? Can you beatbox? If that sounds like you please come to an informational meeting Monday, right after school in the choir room for the A Cappella Club, Arapahoe High School's newest club.
Athletics
Attention all boys interested in trying out for basketball this fall. Please stop by Coach Jansen's office in the men's PE office to pick up an open gym schedule. Go Warriors!
Boys lacrosse players - offseason fall playing opportunities can be found at boys.ahslax.org under team info. Sign up by September 7th.
Attention Baseball Players...if you are not participating in a fall sport, we will begin our off-season lifting program Monday August 28th at 2:30.
Your Varsity Boys’ Soccer team plays their first home game of the year at the Arapahoe High School soccer field today at 4:30 against Rangeview High School. The Junior Varsity plays at 4:30 as well on the Arapahoe JV field – come cheer them on to a great start this afternoon.
