To kick off homecoming week next week, we will have our annual Arapahoe High School Talent Show on Monday, September 10th at 7:00 pm in the theater. Come see a few returning acts such as “Kid On a Leash” and “Magic Mark,” as well as other amazing new talent. Tickets will be sold during both lunches on Monday for $5 and at the door. You don’t want to miss this great event!
Be sure to wear your best disco outfits Monday as we celebrate the first day of Homecoming week!
HS Homecoming Dance is next Saturday, September 15th! If you are bringing a guest from another school, please stop by the Main office to pick up a Guest Approval Form. The form is also available to download from the September DrumBeat. Forms are due back September 11th.
Students! If you are interested in spreading Hope, Help and Strength by being a peer leader in Sources of Strength, bring your lunch and head on down to the forum during your lunch today. We hope to see you there!
Free Alive @25 class will be held on Monday September 17th after school from 3:45 - 8:15 in room W1874. If you are voluntarily taking the class the Sheriff's Office pays for your $79 fee. If you are 15 1/2 you can get drivers permit after taking the class and a lot insurance companies give you a discount. This is a 4 1/2 hour class. Sign up online at www.aliveat25.us To register for the class the password is "arapahoe" and see Deputy Englert if you have questions.
Athletics
Last night, your Boys’ Varsity Soccer team beat Thunder Ridge by a score of 5-0. Adam Hangland, Jay Wolf, Cameron Gail, Zach Westerman, and Caleb Ballard scored the goals. The third and final day of the Warrior Invitational Tournament is tomorrow. The Arapahoe Varsity will battle Littleton High School in the Championship game at 7:00 at Littleton Public Schools stadium. The JV team will play Liberty High School tomorrow at 1:00 at AHS in the Junior Varsity Championship game. GO Warriors!
JV gold boys tennis team beat Cherry Creek yesterday by a score of 5-2. Max Garside had a nail biter of a match, winning it after a tight 10 point tie break!
Hey Warriors - it’s "Friday Night Lights" at LPS Stadium TONIGHT. Your Arapahoe Warriors take the field against Heritage at 7:00 p.m. We will be pre-selling tickets for this game during both lunches today. ALL ARAPAHOE STUDENTS MUST PAY to attend this game as we are the away team. Ticket prices are $4 for students and $6 for adults. Let's pack the stadium with Warrior Pride tonight - Go Warriors!

In Swim & Dive News - Homecoming Float Decorating will be next Thursday and Friday.
