*MUSE is now accepting submissions for the 2019 magazine. Email your best poems, stories, and artwork to ArapMuseMag@gmail.com to enter yourself into our September gift-card give-away! - See Mr. Neenan with any questions.

*September is Suicide Awareness and Prevention Month. Please stop by the table in the cafeteria during lunches to color your feather for the cafeteria mural and get resources about Suicide awareness and prevention.

*Were you not able to attend the FBLA Meeting yesterday after school?  There is a makeup meeting in room S1409 during both lunches to catch you up!  We look forward to seeing you there. 

*Kona Ice! This Friday, Sept. 13th after school sponsored by Student Council! Bring cash.

*Attention all NHS members! We will have our first meeting for returning seniors today after school in the forum. We will be discussing the year ahead and meeting our new officers. See you there!

*Hey Warriors! Do you have used sports equipment at home collecting dust?  DECA is collecting used sports equipment to donate to Field Elementary and Options Middle School! Green collection boxes are located around the school! 

*Attention students: please be sure that you have downloaded the Infinite Campus app to your phone with your notifications turned on. Be sure to check your notifications on Sunday night to see if you have been assigned to a TRIBE enrichment. If so, you will report to that location on Monday, September 16. If not, you will report to your regularly scheduled TRIBE.

*Attention Arapahoe Ladies! AHS is thrilled to announce that Powder Puff Flag Football will be a part of our Homecoming celebration this year!  The game will be Wednesday, October 30 at 6:00 pm. Team Black will have 16 seniors and 16 freshmen and Team Gold will have 16 juniors and 16 sophomores.  Applications will be available on Monday, September 16 at 3:30 in the Activities Office. Only completed registration packets with checks attached will be considered for a team. The deadline to register is September 20. There will be at least 4 practices in October. The teams will be formed on a first come first served basis so be prepared to turn in your completed packet promptly. Checks will be returned to players who do not make a team.  Please see Mrs Abner or Mrs. Price with questions.

*Juniors and Seniors!  On Tuesday, the Post Grad Center will host the University of Arizona, the University of Oklahoma, the University of Colorado-Boulder, Bethel University, and Pepperdine University . Sign up in Naviance 24 hours prior to the visit.  

Athletics

*Congratulations to your Girls Gymnastics Team for placing 2nd in last night's meet at Overland!  Way to go, Warriors! Come Support your LPS Girls Gymnastics Team this Saturday as they host their 1st Home Meet in several years at Active Athletics!  Competition starts at 3:30 PM against Cherry Creek & Rock Canyon! See you there!

*Hey Warriors! Support your TOMS by stopping by the McDonald's near LPS Stadium on your way to the game Friday! Not hungry yet? Then come by afterwards and celebrate our Arapahoe Victory over Heritage instead! McDonald's is a generous supporter of Arapahoe Athletics and we're lovin' it!

*The ABK Fresh/Soph soccer team lost to Cherry Creek yesterday 1-2, in a very close game. The next game is Saturday, a rematch against Mountain Vista, on the JV Soccer Field at 2pm. 

*AHS Field Hockey is hosting Flapjack Fundraiser @ Applebee’s this Saturday, September 14th, 7:30-9:30 AM. Enjoy breakfast while being greeted and served by the AHS Field Hockey Teams! *It's a BLACK OUT for Friday’s Home Football Game Against Heritage! We will be pre-selling football tickets and black T-shirts for the game.  Adult and student tickets and student T-shirts will be sold both today and Friday from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM in the Cafeteria and in the East Main Entrance (bubble area).  If you have an Athletic Pass on your student ID you will not need to purchase a ticket. All you will need is to bring either your student ID or a photo of your student ID with you to the game on Friday and present it at the pass gate.  Go Warriors!
