General Announcements

*It’s time for the second FBLA meeting today after school in the forum!  Come to enjoy the lip sync competition, learn about competitive events and grab a cookie!  We look forward to seeing you there!

*The first informational meeting of the Technology Student Association or TSA, is rescheduled for NEXT Wednesday, Oct. 2nd after school @ 3:35 PM in the Woods Classroom, E1284.  TSA is for students who want to take their interest in STEM, Technology, and Engineering one step further, have fun, meet new people, and perhaps get the chance to travel along the way.  Come and find out more about this exciting opportunity next Wednesday!

*Hello, Warriors. Please check your LPS email account for a link to a survey  for the yearbook. The email was sent on Monday the 23rd. We appreciate your input.

*Seniors!  Do you have an October 15 college application deadline?  If so, blue forms are due to Mrs. Arnold in the Main Office by the end of the day on Oct 1st.

*This Saturday, The Pride of Arapahoe Warrior Marching Band will compete in their first competitive show, the Legacy Marching Invitational. Our band performs in preliminary competition at 1:15 at Adams 12 Five Star Stadium. Good luck Warriors!

*Today's visit from UCLA will be in the library.  Tomorrow, the University of California Santa Cruz, the University of Tulsa, the University of Missouri, Gordon College, Point Loma Nazarene University, Kenyon College, Oregon State University, Biola University, and the University of Colorado Denver will be visiting. Please sign up today! Thank you!

Athletics    

*Congrats to the JV and Varsity softball teams for defeating Overland on Monday. Varsity is currently 3-0 in league and the JV team is 2-1. The Varsity team added two more home runs to their stats, bringing the season total to 18. Both teams are back in action on Thursday against Mullen. Good Luck Ladies!

*Last night the Warrior Tennis Boys dominated Eaglecrest! Varsity went 6-1 and JV Black had a complete shutout with a 12- 0 victory! Good luck to JV as they travel to Denver South today! The Varsity Warriors hit the road on Thursday to challenge the state's best at the Pueblo South Invitational! Good luck!

*Warriors VICTORIOUS! The Warrior VB Teams played Overland last night!  The Freshmen, the Sophs and the JV all won in two sets and Varsity won in three sets!

*The ABK Fresh/Soph soccer team, with a record of 6-1-1, has an away game today at 4:30 pm against Grandview. If you see a player in the halls, cheer them on to remind the Wolves how Warriors battle!
