*Have you had a chance to check out the new space in counseling and submit your name suggestion for our new Old Gold-fish friend? Today is the last day to submit your entry!

*Juniors (and interested sophomores) need a little boost before you take your PSAT? Sycamore Learning Company will be offering 5-hour seminars on September 25 & 26 for $86.  For more information, please visit the counseling office.

*Test Drive for AHS -  this Saturday, Sept 21st come to school in the East Parking lot anytime between 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM and test drive a CAR or TRUCK! Vroom! Vroom! For every person 18 and over who takes a test-drive in a Ford vehicle during our event, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to Arapahoe Band. FOOD TRUCKS will be on site too! It’s a party, don’t miss it! By taking a simple test-drive, you can support our band in a meaningful way! Bring proof of insurance. Parents, Teachers and Support Staff are welcome too! Vroom Vroom!

*Seniors!  Do you have an October 15 college application deadline?  If so, blue forms are due to Mrs. Arnold in the Main Office by the end of the day on Oct 1st.  

*Attention all NHS members- please check your email for important information regarding participation and membership.

*Warriors, as the weather continues to stay warm, we want to remind you that the school dress code is still in place. This means that bare stomachs and backs, extremely short shorts, and low-cut tops are not appropriate for the learning environment. Also, all tops must have straps, and undergarments must not show. Please be respectful of yourself and others by adhering to these guidelines. If you do not, you will be asked to change or wear something over your clothes. 

Athletics

*Congrats to the Varsity softball team for defeating Grandview 3 to 2 yesterday in their first Centennial League game. The Lady Warriors hit their 16th homerun of the season. The team is currently 12 and 3 and is back in action tomorrow at Smoky Hill at 11:00am. Good Luck Ladies!

*Congratulations to the Football Warriors for bringing in a win against Rock Canyon last night.  The final score was 24-12. Both the offense and the defense had an outstanding game.  Next Friday the team is away vs Douglas County High School.
